It is indeed a sad news and a big loss for the Indian television.
Pratyusha Banerjee whom we best remember as Anandi from Balika Vadhu committed suicide earlier in the day by hanging herself in her house. The 24-year-old actress took her last breath in Kokilaben Hospital.
According to several media reports, Pratyusha allegedly took this drastic step due to issues in her personal life. She was in a relationship with boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh and they were planning to get married soon. However, trouble reportedly brewed between them which led Pratyusha to take this step.

She hanged herself to death at around 4-5 pm because of relationship issues with her boyfriend. He had got engaged to someone else leaving her, and if reports are to be believed she even had a talk with him before taking this extreme step.

Pratyusha rose to fame from her role as Anandi in Colors show, Balika Vadhu. However, she left the show after sometime. She also participated in Bigg Boss 7 and Sasural Simar Ka.

Her last appearance on television was in the reality show, Power Couple on Sony Television.
Well, we are deeply saddened to hear this news and we pray to the God to provide strength to her family in this tough time. May her soul rest in peace.
