The loss of a father cannot be filled by anything or anyone else in this world. After Irrfan Khan's demise, his son, Babil Khan has been sharing throwback videos and pictures in remembrance of his late father. Babil's Instagram account is proof that not even a single day passes by when he does not remember his father, Irrfan Khan. He often treats Irrfan's fans with some old and unseen pictures of the family that are very special and close to their heart.
A few hours ago, the star kid took to his IG handle to drop in a series of pictures in remembrance of his father, late Irrfan Khan. Not only did he post those pictures but also shared one of his biggest regrets. He wanted his father to be present here and witness his hard work. However, destiny had something else in store for the family. The doting son captioned the pictures as "I’ve been working so hard man, wish you were here to witness."
On April 29, 2021, at Irrfan's first death anniversary, Babil had taken to his IG handle to share an unseen picture of his father fixing a table. He had also penned a heartwrenching note for his late father that had stated that how chemotherapy burns you from inside, only to find joys in the little pleasures of life. He had written, "Chemo burns you from the inside, so to find joy in the simple things, like building your own table to write your own journals. There is a purity, I have not yet discovered. There is a legacy that has already been concluded by my Baba himself. A full stop. Nobody can ever replace him. Nobody will ever be able to."
He further went on to express his love for his father and promised to do so for the rest of his life. He had added, "To the greatest best friend, companion, brother, father, I ever had and ever will have. I love you so much, for the rest of this chaos we are choosing to call life. I would have built a space monument that could have taken us to the furthest parts of a black hole singularity you were always intrigued by, but I would have been there with you Baba, and we could have gone together, hand in hand. (Exploring the last mysteries)"
In a media interaction during the release of Irrfan's movie, Qarib Qarib Single, the actor had shared how he had reacted when he had seen a love bite on his son, Babil's neck. He had said, "My kids are very open with me. When I saw a love mark on his neck and confronted him about it, he said, 'no it's not that, it is a rash.' I said to him Beta congratulations."
On the professional front, Babil Khan will debut with Netflix's upcoming project, Qala.
