Former model and Bollywood actress, Ayesha Takia was a rage in the early 2000s. Popularly known as the girl-next-door, Ayesha was seen in many popular films like Socha Na Tha, Dil Maange More, Wanted and others. Born to a Muslim father and a Hindu mother, Ayesha began modelling at the mere age of 15. After a few years, she made her acting debut in Bollywood with the film, Taarzan: The Wonder Car in 2004.
Apart from her professional life, Ayesha has often hit the headlines for undergoing the knife. For the uninitiated, Ayesha used several cosmetic procedures, including lip fillers, puffy cheeks and Botox, to beautify herself. However, in the process of enhancing her beauty, her looks changed drastically. The actress was recently spotted at the Mumbai airport and looked unrecognizable. Dressed in a blue-coloured kurta and palazzo set, Ayesha posed for the paps.

As soon as the pictures and videos of her were shared on social media, netizens reacted and revealed how the actress’ face changed completely. Many social media users commented how she used to look innocent and spoilt her face with surgeries. One of the users wrote, “Phle kitni beautiful lgti thi surgery k bad kya haal hogya hai.” Another one commented, “Chiii kya thi kyaa kr liya khud ka.”

It was in 2017 when Ayesha Takia hit the headlines for her changed looks. Apart from the social media trolling, people went far enough to mock the actress brutally by making caricatures and slamming the actress for ruining her face. However, in an interview with SpotboyE, Ayesha reacted to the trolling and said:
“I was in Goa with my family when this came out and I just burst out laughing. I dealt with it by laughing about it and when it blew up I posted a little bit on my Instagram about how people should be confident of who they are and not care about what other people think. You should not try and defend yourself, when you have not really done anything wrong. It does not affect me and I moved on from it very easily."

On the personal front, Ayesha Takia got married to her boyfriend, Farhan Azmi at the mere age of 23. On March 1, 2009, Ayesha and Farhan tied the knot in a Muslim nikaah, due to which Ayesha converted to Islam and added Azmi to her surname. Post her wedding with Farhan, Ayesha bid adieu to her film career. Four years later, Ayesha and Farhan embraced parenthood and welcomed a baby boy, whom they named Mikail Azmi.
