With so many Bollywood and telly world weddings happening, 2016 can be officially termed as the year of weddings, we guess! We all have witnessed some spectacular star weddings like Divyanka-Vivek, Mihika Verma, Sambhavna Seth, Urmila Matondkar and Preity Zinta and of course, Bipasha and KSG.

Now according to a leading website, the actor is set to join the list of celebs who got married in 2016 is Ayaz Khan. And yes, he is the same guy who impressed us all by playing Dr. Shubhankar Rai in Dill Mill Gayye. The versatile actor is all set to tie the knot with a non-industry girl on December 14, 2016 and the name of the bride is Sehar Khwaja.

The actor had more of a practical approach when it came to marriage and did not have any reservations about an arranged marriage setup. In an interview to another leading online portal, the 37-year-old actor shared what he thought about an arranged married and why he was ready for one,
“I never thought of an arranged marriage until last year. I told my mother that the idea of love marriage wasn’t working for me and that she should find my bride. And she went on a rampant bride-hunt for me!”
After the wedding, the actor will also host a majestic reception in Mumbai for his industry friends and relatives. We are almost sure about one actor who will make it to the wedding and that is none other than Karan Singh Grover. Even after Dill Mill Gayye ended, Karan and Ayaz have stayed in touch.

In fact, Bipasha and Karan even celebrated Eid with Ayaz and his family and Karan shared some photos on his Instagram too.

Now coming back to the wedding and the bride-to-be, Ayaz gave in nice deets,
“Sehar comes from a highly educated family. Her parents are retired IAS officers and she is in her fourth year of Ph.D in History. My friends tease me about how a B.Com graduate like me managed to convince her to marry me. But then, it’s a relationship between two people and their mindsets, not degrees. Sehar’s parents are simple people and I enjoy the intelligent conversations with them."
And here's something he specifically mentioned about his bride-to-be, and that's sort of very sweet!
"She makes an effort to be in touch with my family on a regular basis. Sehar and I are different to a great extent, but we tend to think alike when it comes to family and kids. Though we both get panic attacks at the thought of this being an arranged marriage, I am certain that we will be happy together.”
