Avinash Sachdev has been hitting all the headlines since he graced the controversial show, Bigg Boss OTT 2. The actor has been receiving a lot of love and praise for his outstanding performance in BB OTT 2. For the unversed, the handsome actor recently got evicted from the show. Apart from his professional life, Avinash often hits the headlines with his personal life. The same happened when the handsome actor found his love interest in his BB OTT 2 co-contestant, Falaq Naaz. However, after Avinash informed Falaq about his feelings, rumours started doing rounds on social media that Avinash also dated Falaq's sister, Shafaq Naaz. And recently, Avinash opened up about the same.
In a recent interview with India Today, Avinash Sachdev opened up about his dating rumours with his love interest, Falaq Naaz's sister, Shafaq Naaz. The actor stated that he had never dated Shafaq. Avinash mentioned that he did a romantic television show with Shafaq, which was rated high at that time, and it was 11 years ago. Further in the interview, Avinash slammed such dating rumours and mentioned that in the industry where nothing can be hidden, how if his and Shafaq's relationship could be hidden if they dated each other. Avinash can be quoted as saying:
"No, I haven't dated her (Falaq's) sister. We did a show together. It was a romantic television on Star Plus. Our chemistry was rated really high, and that telefilm got the highest ratings at that time. It is something that happened in 2012, which is 11 years ago. If it was this kind of a scene, it would have been highlighted only by then. Humare industry mein kuch nahi chupta. Ab kyu bahar aa raha hain?"

In the same interview, Avinash was asked how his love interest, Falaq, reacted to his dating rumours with Shafaq. To this, the actor mentioned that Falaq is really mature enough to handle such situations, which he respects.
Yet in another interview with News 18, Avinash Sachdev clarified that it was not a proposal that he offered to his fellow contestant, Falaq Naaz. The actor shared that proposal is a big word and simply expressed his feelings to Falaq.
Avinash further mentioned that he found feelings of comfort around Falaq and he got such kind of feeling after a long time, and as he is a shy person, it took him two weeks to express his feelings. Avinash also mentioned that Falaq didn't say anything during that time as she wanted to go with the flow. He also mentioned his feelings for Falaq are honest and real. Avinash clarified:
"Proposal is a big word. I just shared my feelings with her. I got this feeling when I was inside the house and I thought that I should convey it to her. I found a different kind of comfort when I would be with Falaq and I got the same vibe from her so it was not one-sided. Falak chose not to say anything at that point and just wanted to go with the flow. I got this feeling after a long time and it took me a good two weeks to express myself as I am a shy person. It took a lot of courage and effort. My feelings for her are real and honestly, I did not get inside the house to get into any relationships or with a plan."

Earlier in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Avinash Sachdev opened up about his feelings for Falaq Naaz. The actor stated that his feeling for his co-contestant was not scripted or planned, and he genuinely has feelings for her. Avinash also mentioned that he and Jad already met Falaq at a small dinner after coming out of the BB house.
