Bollywood is always booming with celebrity marriage rumours. The year 2022 saw a bunch of superstars tying the knot with the love of their lives. And now, as the new year 2023 begins, reports suggest that Athiya Shetty and cricketer, KL Rahul’s wedding is on the cards. The much-anticipated date of their nuptial is somewhere between January 21 to January 23.
Sunil Shetty poses a royal bungalow worth crores in Khandala. And a recent report in the ETimes hinted that the superstar’s grand South Indian-style wedding would be held there. Those who have seen glimpses of Sunil’s bungalow before would believe that Sunil Shetty’s abode amid the hills looks no less than a resort. It would undoubtedly be the best venue for Athiya and KL Rahul to tie the knot. Moreover, sources also revealed that post-marriage, Athiya and KL Rahul would shift to a nearby apartment of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.

If sources are to be believed, Sunil Shetty’s Khandala abode will remain highly restricted on his daughter’s wedding. Only close friends, family members and big names from the cricket and entertainment world would be allowed. Earlier, Sunil Shetty had himself confirmed the news of his daughter’s wedding with the ace cricketer during a media interaction. When asked about the dates by a journalist, he had said, “Jaldi Hogi.”
In a report of News18, it was mentioned that since the couple would tie the knot in a private ceremony, they have decided to throw a big fat reception party for the who’s who of Bollywood. And the starry night would be no less than a red carpet event. They will be getting married following the South Indian style, including all the festivities like haldi, mehendi and sangeet.

In the collages, the actress was seen posing in the same beige-coloured hoodie which was earlier worn by KL Rahul. Not only this, we saw one more photo in which Athiya borrowed a cool white T-shirt of KL Rahul for one of her vacations.
