Bollywood actress, Athiya Shetty and cricketer, KL Rahul had kept their relationship under the covers for a long time. However, recently the duo has been coming out in the open and painting the town red with their camaraderie. For the unversed, Athiya Shetty is accompanying her rumoured boyfriend, KL Rahul, to London for the World Tournament Test Series.
Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul have been spotted goofing around in London with other cricketers and their wives. A few days back, actress, Anushka Sharma had taken to her IG handle to share a picture from London, and it had featured her hubby, Virat Kohli, and their daughter, Vamika. The picture also had Athiya and her alleged boyfriend, KL Rahul, along with Ishant Sharma, his wife, Pratima Singh and cricketer, Umesh Yaadav and his wife, Tanya Wadhwa.

On August 12, 2021, KL Rahul had made it to the headlines for scoring a century against England at Lord's. Therefore, his rumoured girlfriend, Athiya Shetty, took to her IG stories to share a video of Rahul celebrating his century. She added a couple of celebratory emoticons along with a red heart. From the video, it could be deciphered that Athiya was not present at the cricket stadium as it was recorded from a television screen.
On the other hand, Athiya Shetty's father, Suniel Shetty, took to his IG handle to share a video of the cricketer and thanked Rahul for gifting him with such an amazing gift on his birthday. Sharing the video, Suniel Shetty wrote, "100 at the Mecca of cricket! Congratulations and god bless baba @rahulkl Ps: thank you for my bday gift!"

In an earlier interview with ETimes, Suniel Shetty had shared that Athiya Shetty is in England with her brother, Ahaan Shetty. Stating the same, he had said, "Yes, she is in England, but she is with Ahan. The brother-sister duo has gone there for a holiday. Rest you may check with them.”
Going further in the interview, Suniel Shetty had talked about Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul's appearance in an eyewear brand's commercial and had said that they had looked good together. The actor had added, "I think it is best you speak to them. As far as the ad goes… I mean it is an international brand and they chose to take the two of them as the ambassadors. I think they look brilliant together. They are a good-looking couple, na? So, it totally works from a brand perspective. And I must say, they look good together, well, in the ad.”
