Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been constantly grabbing the headlines for all negative reasons. For the unversed, the popular characters from the show have been constantly making some shocking revelations about the producer, Asit Kumarr Modi. One of the most popular characters in the sitcom, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, aka 'Mrs Roshan Singh Sodhi', accused Asit of sexual harassment. And now, the producer has finally reacted to the same.
In a recent interview with the IANS, Asit Kumarr Modi talked about the allegations that have been made on his name. The producer shared that he feels sad after hearing all these, as he thinks of everyone as a family. Asit shared that he tried to keep everyone happy as he wanted to spread happiness with his show. He also mentioned that he and his team members always try to make each of the members happy in a very nice and positive atmosphere. Asit Kumarr Modi mentioned:
"Emotionally I feel sad. As I consider everyone like my family. And, again I am saying I have never done anything wrong to anyone. I have tried to keep everyone happy because I am giving happiness every day through my show. Hence, I try to keep my team also very happy, and in a nice and positive atmosphere.”

In the same interview, Asit Kumarr Modi also mentioned that it's possible that hurdles may come in the way of successful work. And despite facing a lot of challenges, he and his team have been working with a positive mindset. Asit Kumarr Modi shared that he and his team never did anything wrong to anyone; they just tried to make everyone happy. He also added that as they have clean and pure intentions, thus they do not bother about the negative comments outside. Asit shared:
"Hurdles come in every successful work. And those who pass the hurdles, they only succeed in life. So, we are accepting hurdles and challenges, and whatever is happening in and around us, we are fighting it with a positive mindset...We have never done anything wrong to anyone. We have always kept everyone happy. So, we don’t bother, we are clean and pure by heart."
For the uninformed, it has been a long since several allegations have been made against Asit Kumarr Modi's name. Apart from Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, Priya Ahuja also charged the TMKOC team with harassment. Monika Bhadoriya, another actor of TMKOC, made several allegations about the show and even called it 'male-chauvinist'.
Recently, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal shared that the police had harassed her, and her FIR was not fully filled. The actress also revealed that police, after being influenced by Asit Modi, tried to hint her subtly to withdraw the case. And as she is not the same, police have been telling her to transcribe the audio proofs.

Jennifer recently talked about the toxic atmosphere of the show. Talking about the same, she mentioned that all of them had to even ask for the bare minimum. The actress mentioned that they got scolded if they used to ask for water, more than what was available on the sets. Jennifer revealed that on the 9 pm shift if they even asked for a packet of biscuits, the team did not provide it.
