Ashley St. Clair is speaking out about her tumultuous relationship with Elon Musk in an explosive new documentary, alleging that the billionaire reduced his monthly financial support for their son after she turned down a multimillion-dollar deal and revealed publicly that they had a child together.

Musk is a documentary from Academy Award-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney that dives into the Tesla and SpaceX CEO's personal life, business empire, and influence. In the film, the former conservative influencer tells her story.

Ashley St. Clair claims Elon Musk offered USD 40 million for her silence

In the documentary, St. Clair alleges that Musk's financial manager, Jared Birchall, sent her a proposed nondisclosure agreement through Signal about two months after she gave birth to his 13th son, Romulus, in September 2024.

The 28-year-old says the proposed deal included an upfront payment of USD 15 million and monthly payments of USD 100,000 for the next 21 years, which brought the total to approximately USD 40.2 million. Ashley claims the arrangement would have prevented her from discussing her relationship with Musk, even with close family members, and that the restrictions would have extended to her heirs.

Ashley claims she refused to sign the agreement because she was uncomfortable with its conditions. In the documentary, she describes the proposed arrangement as a child support agreement, despite the confidentiality provisions she says it contained. She says, "The NDA that they had provided me was labeled as a child support agreement."

The former conservative influencer also claims that Musk's financial backing changed dramatically after she refused the deal. According to her account, her monthly child support dropped from USD 100,000 to USD 40,000 after she refused to sign.

Following her public announcement in February 2025 that she had welcomed Musk's child, the former influencer says the payment was reduced again, this time to USD 20,000 per month. The alleged reductions amount to USD 80,000 less per month than the original figure Ashley says she was offered. Musk also responded to the report of their alleged NDA and wrote on X that Ashley St. Claire had never been offered such a deal. He, in turn, accused her of having a history of making false claims.

What Ashley St. Clair has revealed about her relationship with Elon Musk

St. Clair, 28, says her relationship with Musk began in 2023 after he started interacting with her on Twitter, now known as X. At the time, she was an active conservative influencer and contributor to the satirical publication, The Babylon Bee. She also had a son from a previous relationship.

The former influencer says Musk would often comment on her posts and tell her to have more babies. She recalled their initial interactions and revealed:

"He made himself out to be a doting father and gave the impression that he got along with the mothers of his other children, including musician Grimes and tech executive Shivon Zilis. He was always saying, 'We should have a kid. You should have so many more kids. You should have 10 kids.'"

She recalled Musk being "kind" and "respectful" during the early stages of their relationship, but his behavior allegedly switched after their son was born. She also alleges that Musk contacted other women through direct messages and discussed having children with them. Ashley shares:

"It was almost as if he didn't show a certain side of himself until after I had our baby... There was a woman in Japan who just wanted, basically, sperm donation that he had obliged. It's like a Gatling gun of sperm in his DMs."

Ashley's participation in Musk comes shortly after she shared her own experience with one of the world's most powerful billionaires. At the Venice Film Festival in September 2026, she explained why she chose to speak publicly despite the consequences that may occur. She said:

"I want to set the example for my kids that you should never take being materially comfortable over speaking the truth."

After Romulus, Musk had his 14th baby, Seldon Lycurgus, born in early 2025 with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis. The Tesla and SpaceX founder has criticized Gibney's documentary, calling it a "hit piece," and declined to participate in the film. His representatives and attorneys have challenged aspects of the project.

Ashley St. Clair has since pursued legal action seeking full custody of Romulus. The custody dispute remains ongoing.
