Recently, TMZ talked with Ashlee Jenae's family, and they revealed shocking details about her fiance. As per the family, Joe McCann is radio silent after Ashlee Jenae's death. Ashlee's father revealed that Joe had not told them about Ashlee's death or what she had been through. The father was quoted as saying:

"We think it very odd that our daughter was travelling with Joe and we don't hear anything from Joe. To me it's very odd, and the initial call we got from Joe was 11 hours after something has transpired in the room. That's very odd, 11 hours later, something has transpired. Joe was like Ashlee was okay, she was stable, and don't worry about it."

When the TMZ reporter questioned whether they are in touch with Joe, someone from Ashlee's family revealed that there has been no communication. Further, the influencer's father stated that they need to know the timeline of what happened to her, or how things transpired. 

After Ashlee's demise, the family released a statement. They called it the influencer dream trip with her boyfriend. They mentioned that nothing about the loss feels real, one moment their daughter was enjoying life and the next she was gone. There are a lot of unanswered questions, and the distance from home further made the tragedy feel heavy for the family. While the investigation is underway, they have placed their trust in the authorities who are working to find the truth. A part of the excerpt can be read as:

"Nothing about this loss feels real. One moment she was celebrating love and life in truly Ashly fashion, and the next, she was gone. The suddenness, the unanswered questions, and the distance from home have made this tragedy even more overwhelming for our family. At this time, there is an active investigation into the circumstances surrounding Ashly's suspicious passing. Although we have many questions, we are placing our trust in the officials in Zanzibar and are working closely with them as we seek clarity and answers."

Ashlee Jenae's followers warned her about her fiance, Joe McCann's intentions

Ashlee's followers had been giving her warnings about her fiance. For the unversed, the two have been together for almost 1.5 years. Ashlee shared a photo on November 19, 2025, with Joe McCann, where they were seen enjoying a match day. The two posed together, and they looked in love.

However, one of her followers spotted Joe McCann's ill intentions and gave a warning in the comments. The user claimed to tell Ashlee that the man would harm her and she should just leave him. The comment can be read as "He is going to harm you, get out." Now, her followers are shocked at how the man had predicted Ashlee's fate five months before her death. Users flooded the reply section. One user wrote, "Bro, you must be a fortune teller or something." Another one wrote, "My question is, how did so many people predict this via screen?? I’ve been through comments, and so many people warned her months back."
