Arsha Warsi is one of the most loved Bollywood actors, who never fails to amuse the audience with his acting prowess. His iconic role as 'Circuit' in the film, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S has got him a lot of applause. On the personal front, Arshad is married to VJ-turned actress, Maria Goretti, and we are parents to two lovely kids, Zeke Warsi and Zene Zoe Warsi.

In a recent interaction with Lallantop, Arshad revealed that Maria’s parents were concerned about their marriage as he belonged to a different religion. They expected Maria to marry a catholic man as they were deeply religious. Speaking about the same, Arshad stated:
“Voh thode ghabraiye hue the. Catholic girl and muslim guy. Woh dono bahut sharif hain. Unki zindagi main Jesus Christ ke alava aur kuch nahi hai. Voh thode se the ghabriye hue because they expected Maria to marry another Catholic guy jo 9-5 job karega, aur isne muslim ladka pakadliya aur jobless.”
However, over the years, they came to believe that Arshad was a good human being and that no one would have taken care of Maria as he did. In the same interaction, Arshad also stated that his in-laws live with them.
In 1991, Arshad Warsi was invited to St. Xavier's College to judge a dance talent show, Malhar. He saw a talented girl on the stage, and it was Maria Goretti. Arshad was impressed with Maria’s dancing skills and asked her to join his troupe, but she declined the offer. Three months later, the two had met again through a common friend, and Maria had joined Arshad's dance troupe.

Soon after joining Arshad’s troupe, Maria and Arshad became friends. Arshad knew that Maria had feelings for him, but when he had asked her, she had refused. But, Arshad, being a prankster, had made her confess her love for him. Sharing the details on how he had pranked Maria to know her feelings for him, the handsome actor had said:

"Summing up the courage I asked her whether she loved me and she flatly refused. However, I was determined not to give up. After a month we went to Dubai for a dance show. One evening I mixed beer in her coke and her feelings poured forth. She confessed her love for me and even added that she couldn't live without me!"
On the work front, Arshad Warsi was last seen in the film, Jolly LLB 3.
