It is said that matches are made in heaven. So, it does not matter whether you are one who finds your other half or someone else helps you, the feeling of finding ‘the one’ is priceless. The same thing happened with this popular TV couple, Aniruddh Dave and Shubhi Ahuja, who found love in their arranged marriage.

Even if it is an arranged marriage, no meeting starts with one claiming to never marry the other. Surprisingly, while sharing the same screen space for Bandhan, Shubhi had to vow to never marry Aniruddh.

As Aniruddh recalls that episode, he said,
“She had to slap me and throw a ring on my face saying that she'd rather remain single than marry someone like me.”
Even when they were working together, they did not talk to each other much. They were cordial towards each other but were completely professional in their ways. But, their destinies and their mommies wanted something else. Both the mummies wanted their kids to be more than just acquaintances.

About how this all happened, Aniruddh said,
“On the set of Bandhan, we never spoke apart from the scene. Co-incidentally, her mother knew my parents as they are in the education department in Rajasthan...via some of Shubhi's relatives in Delhi the conversations (were) initiated and ended in an engagement. I got engaged on July 13. I guess matches are made in heaven.”
To turn the ‘never’ into ‘forever’, the couple tied the knot in an imperial manner on November 25, 2015. It was a destination wedding for this regal couple. All the events took place in Jaipur.

The wedding was a traditional affair, and the ceremonies were celebrated for good 15 days. The events included the likes of mata ki chowki, chaat-bhaat, mehendi, sangeet, cocktail and the wedding.
The bride looked nothing less than a dream, but it was the groom who stole the show. Aniruddh donned a 32 kg Maharaja sherwani. It was a one-of-a-kind sherwani by Riyaz Gangji.

Not just the couple, their friends had a blast too.

Balika Vadhu actor, Shanshank Vyas said:
“Aniruddh’s family treated us very well. These kinds of weddings keep the Indian traditions alive. I wish the couple a bright future together.”
while Uttaran fame actor, Ajay Chaudhary gushed,
“The winter wedding gave all the guests opportunity to wear a variety of costumes. The weather of Jaipur was really beautiful. We were singing and dancing till late in Sangeet ceremony. The Sufi theme was unusual but thoroughly enjoyable. The wedding looked a colourful affair. I wish my friend all the happiness in the world.”
The couple is having a blast right now and is keen to work together, especially in Nach Baliye.
The journey of Aniruddh and Shubhi makes us want to re-evaluate the concept of arranged marriages. It does not matter who finds whom, as far as love follows, everything feels great.
