The nation had witnessed the biggest and star-studded wedding of Salman Khan’s sister, Arpita Khan with Aayush Sharma (son of former Power Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Anil Sharma) on November 18, 2014. The duo had tied the knot at the Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad, which was attended by the who’s who of the glamour, political and business world. The couple, who is blessed with two adorable kids, Ahil and Ayat, is enjoying every moment of their life with their little munchkins.
On November 18, 2020, Arpita Khan Sharma and Aayush Sharma completed six years of marital bliss and the duo wished each other with the sweetest messages. Arpita took to her IG handle and shared an array of throwback pictures with Aayush. Along with the pictures, Arpita reminisced their beautiful journey from friends to partners and wrote, “From being my friend to being my husband, I cherish the journey we decide to pave together. I am glad we gambled our lives to each other 6 years back. Happy Anniversary my LOVE. For the first time we our not celebrating together but I am so happy your doing what you love doing best. On the other hand, Aayush Sharma took to his IG handle and shared adorable pictures with Arpita Khan Sharma from his archives and wrote, “Happy Anniversary my love @arpitakhansharma… We have been married for 6 years but it feels like I know you since forever. 6 years of your insane childish excitement and finding happiness in the smallest of moments. In a live Instagram chat with Pinkvilla, Aayush Sharma had recounted how he had decided to propose Arpita Khan Sharma. Aayush had recalled shifting his base to Mumbai in 2009 and after two years, he had met Arpita. They had become really good friends in no time and during one of their interactions, Arpita had told him that she was planning to settle down and will go for an arranged marriage. That was the moment when Aayush had decided to profess his love for her.
Aayush had turned a year older on October 26, 2020 and had celebrated his 30th birthday with his friends and family. On October 28, 2020, Arpita had taken to her IG handle and had shared an adorable picture from Aayush's birthday celebration. With arms wrapped around one another, Arpita and Aayush had looked like a match-made-in-heaven and their picture had exuded pure love.
