And Bollywood actresses, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor's cousin, Armaan Jain is soon going to tie the knot with his dream girl, Anissa Malhotra. Armaan is the son of Karisma and Kareena's bua, Rima Jain and her husband, Manoj Jain. However, they share a close bond with each other that's of real siblings. In fact, when Armaan had proposed Anissa, his sister, Karisma was present to record the moment. She had even taken to her Instagram handle to congratulate the 'soon-to-be-married couple'. She had posted an Instagram story and had captioned, "Congratulations to my favourite cuties @therealarmaanjain @anissamalhotra."
After the star-studded mehendi function on February 1, 2020, on February 2, 2020, Armaan Jain and Anissa Malhotra enjoyed their sangeet function. Anissa looked like a million bucks in a green-coloured lehenga, kept her hair loose and added a floral headgear to complete the look. On the other hand, Armaan looked dapper in a pink and white-coloured sherwani. Anissa's floral jewellery was stellar and the duo complemented each other perfectly. Armaan's cousin sister, Karisma Kapoor, who looked stunning in a red-coloured suit danced her heart out with the bride-to-be, Anissa.
In an interview with the Hello! India magazine, Armaan had talked about the dream proposal he had planned for Anissa. He had shared, "I promise you everything was a blur. I was a nervous wreck. My heart didn’t palpitate as hard even when I gave my first shot for celluloid." Armaan had further revealed that it was his mom, who had helped him choose the ring. He had stated that initially, he had kept asking her and her friends about her choice of diamond, but by the end of it, it was just getting more confusing. Last week on Anissa's birthday, Armaan had shared a birthday note for her that could be read as "Mirror mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all? @anissamalhotra my jaan! Happy Birthday! love you so much." Take a look at the picture below:
On July 30, 2019, Armaan had turned the rumours into a piece of news when he had proposed Anissa. He had shared pictures from the same on his Instagram handle, and had written a long post that could be read as "The moment I eagerly waited for 7 years finally arrived, the most nervous moment in my life. The butterflies in my belly all seem a hype when I think of my first school exam or my first shot in front of the camera. You walked in and every sensation went numb. Everything I rehearsed in my mind was out in a jiffy. I finally realised what my yoga teacher said when he meant to go blank and be in the moment."
His post could be further read as "As I walked you, my most beautiful @anissamalhotra down the aisle and finally onto my knees, my heart was pounding, my mouth was dry, everything was hazy and I felt an unexplainable emotion like I did when I first met you, We’ve come along way Jaan, fought all the odds (come rain come storm) like yesterday as well. Thank you for being my backbone and pillar of strength and sticking with me through thick and thin. YOU are the woman of my dreams and I am the luckiest man! None of this was possible without our most generous parents, our most adorable cupid @aadarjain who metaphorically introduced US once again and all our extended family, i.e. our friends who were a part of yesterday and more importantly an integral part of our most beautiful journey in the last 7 years.
