Arjun Kapoor’s relationship with his half-sisters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor was unexplored until February 24, 2018. It was after legendary actress, Sridevi’s sudden death that Boney Kapoor’s four kids, Arjun, Anshula Kapoor, Janhvi and Khushi, found peace in each other. Now, these four half-siblings have grown so fond of each other that they know one another with their heart. A glimpse of their Arjun and Janhvi we got to witness in the actor’s latest chat show, Bak Bak With Baba.
For the unversed, it was Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor, who had stepped up and had come out as emotional support for Janhvi, Khushi and Boney after Sridevi’s demise. Their strong stand for their father and half-sisters mended their relationship. Since then, Arjun, Anshula, Janhvi and Khushi are rebuilding their relationship. From dinner sessions to vacations, from WhatsApp group called ‘Dad’s kids’ to getting tattoos for each other, these Kapoor siblings make us believe that they are no more ‘half’.
Taking to his IG handle a few hours back, Arjun Kapoor launched his first talk show, Bak Bak With Baba, where he will be inviting guests for a small, fun chat session. His first guest is none other than his half-sister, Janhvi Kapoor. In the video, Arjun and Janhvi spilt each other’s secrets and answered some fun questions like, Who’s more bossy? If they like cats or dogs, If they are a night owl or an early riser, if they like horror films or thrillers, Mountain or beach person, favourite colour, who is the annoying one, the weirdest habit and many other questions.
In the video, Arjun Kapoor also stated that he was so excited to shoot with Janhvi that he woke up for almost 37 hours straight. Bollywood Hungama quoted Arjun Kapoor talking about Bak Bak With Baba as “It is a fun, endearing, informal chat session with my family, friends, and colleagues about their likes and passions. Everyone in the industry knows that I’m a chatterbox. I can talk about anything under the sun. So, this digital IP is going to be called Bak Bak with Baba.”
In a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Arjun Kapoor had talked in length about his equation with his half-sisters, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. Sharing how two bad moments in their lives got them together, Arjun had said, “There are two very bad moments in our lives which have got us together. We will always be like broken pieces; trying to fill up the gaps to be in each other’s life. We are a support system to each other.”
Arjun had also talked about meeting his half-sisters, Janhvi and Khushi, after 20 years of their birth. He had shared, “We met after 20 years of Janhvi and Khushi being born. I am 35 now, Anshula is 28 we are matured adults. And we are finding it quite tough to merge just like that. And I also think imperfection is quite fascinating, because then you learn to coexist and you learn to respect the differences. In a way we are very similar too as we have our dad’s genes.”
On the professional front, Janhvi Kapoor will be next seen in Good Luck Jerry, whereas Arjun Kapoor will next be seen in Bhoot Police and Ek Villain Returns!
