Kelley Wolf recently shared an elaborate emotional statement to explain what went on behind the difficult period of her life, which led to her divorce. In turn, her estranged husband, Scott Wolf, reacted to the same in the comments section of her post. He shared a series of red heart emojis, which was a small but important gesture of compassion.
It also led fans to speculate whether the couple had reconciled. However, the latest news reports suggest that Kelley and Scott have not romantically reunited. They have simply developed a healthy and more supportive bond with their family.
In fact, Kelley and Scott have been seen together several times in recent months with their children. They were seen at outings and amusement parks, where they posed together for family photos. These public sightings showcase their shift from conflict towards cooperation.
At the same time, Kelley and Scott have both tried to create a safe, positive environment for their family amid their ongoing divorce proceedings.
Previously, Kelley revealed in an elaborate emotional statement that she was experiencing a severe mental health episode, which dramatically changed her behavior. It also led to her erratic behaviour and the end of her marriage to Scott Wolf.
She shared that the diagnosis came after extensive treatment and consultations with doctors and other medical professionals. In Kelley's words, she has been diagnosed with "breakthrough drug-induced mania with psychosis."
According to Kelley, it is caused by a mix of stress, past trauma, hormonal changes, and prescribed medicines. In her words, it was a "perfect storm." The life coach further explained that she had little awareness about her actions during those months when she was not acting like herself.
Therefore, she expressed her deep regret over the pain and trouble she caused her family. Kelley specifically apologized to Scott and admitted that he had to face a difficult period owing to her actions. Still, he continued to fight and help her through the situation.
Kelley acknowledged that her actions, statements, and social media posts had caused a great deal of harm, but they were not rooted in reality. Still, she expressed her gratitude towards Scott and their children, who supported her. However, Kelley also mentioned that she will continue to carry the remorse for the suffering she believes she has caused her family. In her words:
"[To] Scott and my kids, there won't be a day that I don't thank God for you. Causing you pain and being the reason you suffered will haunt me for the rest of my life. It was my job to protect you, honor you, and keep you safe, and I became the cause of your heartbreak. I am sorry. You never gave up on me, and you fought like hell until you landed me in safe harbor. I owe you my life."
What had happened between Scott and Kelley Wolf?
After 20 years of marriage, Scott and Kelley Wolf announced their separation. The sudden divorce became more complex after Kelley suffered from a serious mental health crisis. It led her to criticize Scott and violate the terms of their custody arrangement to meet their kids. Eventually, she was sent to an involuntary psychiatric hold.
At the same time, Kelley and Scott faced public and legal issues. In turn, Scott got the temporary sole custody of their three children. The court also placed multiple protective orders and other legal measures between the estranged spouses. Needless to say, it attracted significant media attention, and Kelley even made her chats with Scott public, in which his personal phone number was visible.
After a long healing process, Kelley admitted that many of her actions were influenced by her health and did not reflect reality. Since then, they have ended all the legal disputes and protective orders to develop a healthy bond.
