Architect Bride Channeled Her 'Rajputana' Princess Vibes In A Pink-Coloured 'Lehenga'

Getting married is the biggest turning point in a person's life. However, when you are the bride, it becomes a lot more special. From making sure to follow the traditions to hoping that you get to relish all your mad desires, a girl constantly juggles between whether to be a sansakari dulhan or to be the modern bride.

Over the years, we have seen a drastic shift in wedding fashion. Brides have ditched the traditional red lehenga and wear unique-coloured ensembles for their big day. However, our bride of the week won our hearts by going back to her roots and opting for a traditional Rajputana poshak for her wedding.

The bride channelled her Rajputana princess vibes

Rajasthani bride

Meet our bride of the week, Ritu Kumar, an architect by profession. The gorgeousness had tied the knot with the man of her dreams, Daksh Rathore. For the wedding day, the bride had donned a gorgeous pink-coloured Rajputana Poshak. The unique part about her bridal ensemble was that it had the Rajasthani touch to it.

The bride had ditched the usual princess-cut blouse and had opted for a koti-style blouse. Her lehenga featured silver-gota work on it. She had added more charm to her attire with her oversized nathni, a choker neckpiece, a borla and Rajasthani bangles. Subtle pink dewy makeup with lined eyes completed her bridal look. On the other hand, her groom had picked a cream-coloured sherwani.

For the mehendi, the bride had kept her look subtle and had worn a pink-hued lehenga with golden embroidery all over it. She had accessorised her look with statement earrings. Her half-tied hair completed her mehendi night look.

The bride donned an orange lehenga for her wedding reception

For the post-wedding bash, the bride had picked a beautiful orange-hued lehenga with booti-work on it. She had accessorised her look with oxidised jewellery. On the other hand, her groom had donned a blue-coloured ensemble.

We loved the bride's wedding day look! What about you?
