Archana Puran Singh, who had played the role of Miss Braganza in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and had advocated the idea that Pyaar Dosti hai (love is friendship), had won the hearts of millions of her audiences by proving her mettle as an actor. However, the actress' personal life was not a very smooth one. After enduring the brunt of a broken marriage, Archana was shattered. Though her love life had started with a failure, destiny had something else in store for her.

She had met the love of her life, Parmeet Sethi at a common friend's party. Though after a failed marriage, Archana never wanted any man in her life, but when she had met Parmeet, the duo had gelled well, flirted and hit it off. Henceforth, what looked like a casual fling at first sight, ended up as a commitment for a lifetime. And the duo had tied the marital knot in 1999.
Recently, Archana Puran Singh took to her IG handle to share an adorable anniversary wish for her husband, Parmeet Sethi, in which she talked about the highs and lows of life that they faced together. She wrote, "1992. 29 years. And not counting. Not counting the countless fights and the 'making ups', the joys and the tough times, the highs and lows, the good and the bad... our two beautiful boys, the houses we made into homes with each other, the trips we made together and are still making ... "
Revealing their fights are the basis of their relationship, she further stated "All made beautiful and meaningful because you were there to hold my hand through it all, my best friend, my companion, my sounding board... (my bashing board too) Here's lookin at you and me. Together. Always. Because nothing would make any sense otherwise. Happy Anniversary @iamparmeetsethi)"

To wish his dearest wifey on their anniversary, Parmeet Sethi also took to his Instagram handle to share his feelings for her. He shared a picture of Archana and wrote, "Mere Humsafar, 29 saal kahaan gaye kisko khabar. Aaj bhi chalne ko taiyaar hain tere saath, tu jab kahe aur jidhhar! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY DEAR!"
Last year, Archana Puran Singh had taken to her IG handle to share a picture of the duo back from the days when they were dating each other. The picture features Archana and Parmeet kissing each other. Alongside the picture, she had written, "Jab pyar kiya toh darna kya.. #lockdown2020 as old memories resurface, old photographs emerge from the closet... I think it was my birthday (since the cake is on my side of the table !) Waise agar cake ho, toh woh meri side par hi hota tha, hahahaaa, kyunki sabse zyaada main hi cake mein interested rehti thi."
