Apoorva Makhija Sparks New Controversy As She Says She 'Can Sleep With Dubai Shaikh' For 15 Crore

Apoorva Makhija is known for her controversial content and statements that often go wrong. Last year, her name was embroiled in Samay Raina's India's Got Latent controversy. Now, another statement from Apoorva left many in shock, wherein she is casually talking about sleeping with a Dubai Shaikh if he gives her Rs. 15 crore.

Apoorva Makhija is facing backlash for her shocking statement about sleeping with a Dubai Sheikh. In a video, Apoorva claimed that she is not going to sleep with any man for a Rs. 2 role. However, she would think of sleeping with Dubai Shaikh, who would throw Rs. 10 crore or Rs. 15 crore on her. She was quoted as saying:

"I'm not sleeping with anyone for a two-rupee role. However, if a Dubai sheikh throws 10-15 crore rupees at me, then maybe I'll consider it."

This left many infuriated, as many Gen-Z girls follow Apoorva, and she has her own girlie tribe, who love her. Many users slammed Apoorva's thinking as it passes a wrong message to the young girls. One user wrote, "Hahaha everyone knows how you get famous." Another one commented, "She can't be fired because she is an entrepreneur." A third user wrote, "She is influence indian audition bss aise hi influencer chahiye india ko." A fourth one penned, "And she is the Idol for so many feminists in our country."

When Apoorva Makhija got slammed by her ex who accused her of cheating

One of the famous controversy which involved Apoorva was with her her ex-boyfriend, Utsav Dahiya. He went on to accuse her of cheating on him. He sang a song and shared the video of the same on his Instagram handle. Utsav accused Apoorva openly of cheating on him. Not only this, he went on to share that she wanted to get back with him for content for her Instagram. He further added that Apoorva went on to call him 'Ghatiya' for social media traction. Sharing the post, Utsav wrote a shocking caption and warned her that if she dragged him further into the mess, then he would take out the receipts.

Utsav advised her not to gain sympathy by fabricating lies and sharing false narrative online. He went on to slam her for assassinating his character. A part of his note can be read as:

"Ab agar koi aur bakwaas kari toh main seedha receipts nikalunga. Never try to gain sympathy by fabricating lies or pushing false narratives just to make content and assassinate someone’s character online. Having a big following doesn’t give you the right to bully your way by rage-baiting your audience and unleashing them on others."

Utsav further stated that when he was falsely painted as someone who cheated on her and was an abuser, he reached out to Apoorva and her agency. However, instead of helping him, they told him that he was a 'nobody' and that he should be happy to date her. Utsav lashed out at Apoorva and told her that her big numbers matter only on a social media app, and not in the real world. He wrote:

"When I was being falsely painted as a cheat and an abuser because of things you said, I reached out to you and your agency, hoping to find a way to deal with the hate. Instead, I was told, “You’re a nobody, you should be happy you got to date her.” So here’s a message from that ‘nobody’: you tried your level best (and I won’t lie, it wasn’t easy), but I’m still here, still standing. That should tell you something: your big numbers only matter on an app. There’s a real and much bigger world outside – beyond lies and kalesh."
