As the entire nation is busy welcoming Ganpati Bappa to their home, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli also hosted Vighanharta at their home. This year's Ganesh Chaturthi is extremely special for Anushka and Virat as they will be celebrating it for the first time with their 2.5-year-old baby girl, Vamika Kohli. The couple, who likes to keep their life private, shared glimpses of their Ganpati celebrations.
On September 19, 2023, Anushka took to her Instagram handle and posted glimpses of her Ganpati celebrations. In the first picture, Anushka shared a beautiful photo of her Ganpati Bappa, who looked adorable in a red floral garland. We loved the beautiful orange and yellow-hued genda phool (marigold flowers) backdrop.

In another photo, Anushka was seen posing with her hubby, Virat just a few seconds before Ganpati puja. The actress looked stunning as she donned a silk saree with gold jewellery. Subtle makeup with a centre-parted low bun and a small bindi on her forehead completed her look. On the other hand, Virat looked handsome in an all-white kurta.
It is said that love changes people, and this stands true in the case of Virat Kohli. Once during an interview, Virat had openly stated 'Do I look puja-path types.' But after Anushka arrived in his life, she taught how to do puja-path. Earlier, this year, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma visited an ashram in Vrindavan. The couple met Shri Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj. A video of them from the ashram made rounds on the internet. In the video, we could see Anushka and Virat sitting on the floor and Vamika is sitting on her mom's lap.
