The power couple of glamour world, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are on cloud nine as they are all set to welcome a new member into their lives. The duo had recently grabbed headlines when Anushka had confronted cricket legend, Sunil Gavaskar for his controversial remarks on her and for dragging her in hubby, Virat Kohli’s game. Sunil Gavaskar had later cleared his stance on the same and had retorted that his comments were twisted and his intention was not to blame the cricketer’s wife. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have always mesmerised their fans with their camaraderie and have given major couple goals. Anushka has always been supporting her hubby, on and off the field. During their dating phase, the gorgeous actress had appeared in many of Virat’s matches, raising quite a few eyebrows. The madly-in-love couple had tied the knot on December 11, 2017. On August 27, 2020, the couple had announced the news of their pregnancy with an adorable picture on their social media handles, where the actress had flaunted her baby bump. Revealing that junior Sharma-Kohli will arrive in 2021, Anushka and Virat had captioned it as “And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021.”
After her face off with Sunil Gavaskar, now, Anushka Sharma is too excited and the reason is hubby, Virat Kohli’s team RCB tasted another victory recently. They have defeated Mumbai Indians in the 10th IPL match held in Dubai. Anushka couldn’t hide her excitement and took to her IG stories to express the same. She shared a glimpse of the team and wrote, “Phew! Too exciting a game for a pregnant lady. What a team this one” followed by a heart atop it.
On September 13, 2020, Anushka had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a mesmerisingly beautiful picture of herself while standing on the shores. In the picture, she could be seen caressing her baby bump with a beautiful smile on her face. Along with the picture, Anushka had written, "Nothing is more real & humbling than experiencing the creation of life in you. When this is not in your control, then really what is?" The doting husband, Virat Kohli had also dropped a beautiful comment on his wifey's picture and it could be read as "My whole world in one picture." In an interview to RCB Bold Diaries, on the YouTube channel of the IPL team, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Virat Kohli had revealed his and Anushka Sharma's reaction when they had found out about her pregnancy and his emotions on soon becoming a father. Virat had expressed, "It is an incredible feeling. It puts things into perspective for you. It is a beautiful feeling. It isn't easy to describe how you feel, but when we found it, we were over the moon. When we announced, the kind of love that was showered on us, it was amazing. People were genuinely so emotional and happy for us. We are looking forward to the third member joining the clan."
Talking about the details of Anushka and Virat's pregnancy and the arrival of junior Kohli, according to a report in Pinkvilla, Anushka has probably dropped out of Prabhas starring Adipurush. The film was expected to start by the end of April 2021, post-delivering her child. Pinkvilla had quoted its trade source as saying, "Anushka is raring to resume work immediately post her pregnancy and there will be big announcements in place as and when the time is appropriate but Adipurush definitely doesn't feature in her plans. She was not involved in the project at all and thus, she is definitely not doing the film. There has been no discussion on anything about this film right from the script to the dates with her."
