For the unversed, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli welcomed their second child in London on February 15, 2024. While many criticised Kohli for skipping the recently concluded five-match Test series against England, many hailed him for being with his family when they most needed him. The star-batter recently returned to India, but Anushka stayed with the kids.
It was Virat's first appearance in India after the birth of his son, Akaay. He is expected to join the Royal Challengers Bangalore training camp for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League for the opening match on March 22, 2024. However, some Redditors are speculating whether Virat and Anushka plan to shift to the UK with their kids, Vamika and Akaay.
A Reddit user shared a post stating that Anushka was last seen in India in December 2023. However, she gave birth to her son in the UK in February 2024. And it seems like the family will stay there for a while. The user also questioned if they plan to slowly shift to the UK after the birth of their children.
As soon as the post was shared, netizens flooded the comments section and expressed their point of view. One of the users wrote, "Virat is back for IPL..but yes, they could shift to the UK.. once Virat is done with cricket." Another one commented, "Yes, because a) if you have money, life in uk is very peaceful b) citizenship is easily available you have to invest some amount c) privacy for vamika n akaay which they want d) Anushka in her initial interviews had always said that she does want to be a housewife be there for her children."
Well, whether Virat and Anushka are planning to move to the UK or not, the former is definitely acing his daddy duties. Recently, he was spotted at the airport as he jetted off to Bangalore. However, it was his OOTN that won hearts. Virat was seen flaunting a cool T-shirt with 'Daddy' imprinted on it with cute cartoons. It proves that Virat can't live a second without thinking about his kids.

Anushka Sharma chose a unique name for her second child. She named her son, Akaay, which is a gender-neutral name. It originated from Turkish, and it means shining moon. However, in Sanskrit, it means without a form or body. Coming to Anushka Sharma's baby arrival announcement, she shared a picture note on her Instagram handle. In the picture note, Anushka revealed that her daughter was blessed with a baby brother on February 15, 2024. Her note could be read as:
"With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love. We are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy, Akaay, and Vamika's little brother into this world. We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time."
