Ahead of the premiere of Ashram 3, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Anurita Jha, who is going to be a brand new face in the critically-acclaimed series, shared her experience of working in the show. When the actress was asked about her intimate scenes in the series, Anurita stated that she had asked her father before saying yes to the scenes. However, she also added that her father's absolutely 'bindaas' response to her query boosted her confidence even more. Reflecting on what her father had said to her, Anurita stated:

"I have informed my family beforehand. So I am very excited, this is the first time for me, an intimate scene. I have not done it so far in my career. Before taking it up, I called my dad and told him 'This is how it will be papa, should I do it?' And, he was like 'ha-ha karo, bindaas karo (Yes, go ahead and do it)'. So I was like okay."

Going further in the interview, Anurita Jha also admitted that she was a bit nervous before doing the intimate scene in Ashram 3. However, the young actress has credited the series' director, Prakash Jha. Anurita recalled how she told Prakash Jha about having no experience in intimate scenes and how he helped her with his encouraging words. Talking about the way her first-ever intimate scene in her acting career had gone, Anurita recalled:

"Shooting the scene was comfortable because Prakash Jha is a master of his craft and he trusts you as an actor and makes the environment very safe. When we were shooting, there were just four or five people. Not many people were on the sets. Before the scene, I had a proper conversation with Prakash Jha sir. Also helps because if you can have a conversation with the family, have their support it is great. I am blessed. Earlier, my parents would scold me when they were scared for my safety during my initial days in Mumbai. But now, they are fine."

In the same interview, Anurita Jha shared that she belongs to a very simple and sophisticated family in Bihar. Thus, she doesn't want vulgar scenes and adds that she's happy and convinced that her intimate scene in Ashram 3 was nothing more than the script's demand. Reflecting on the way Prakash Jha had helped her during the entire process, Anurita said:

"Because if I have cried before onscreen, I know how to cry, but how to do an intimate scene onscreen? I just shared my apprehensions with him, and he was like 'ho jaega, ho jaega (It will be done)'. You do not want a scene like this to become a vulgar version. Also, I am from Bihar, everybody is very simple in my family and no one has any connection to films. I had all that on my mind. There were no fears as such that I discussed but I was just not sure how it is done."

For the unversed, Anurita Jha rose to fame after grabbing a role in Anurag Kashyap's blockbuster film, Gangs of Wasseypur.
