The gorgeousness, a popular content creator and a YouTuber, often shares glimpses of her life. On May 20, 2023, Aaliyah announced that her boyfriend, Shane, finally proposed to her, and she said yes. Flaunting her massive solitaire ring, Aaliyah left everyone in awe. However, a section of netizens were left bewildered, and they brutally trolled her.
As soon as Aaliyah posted pictures of her dream proposal, a section of netizens took the opportunity to express their point of view, and it wasn't pleasant at all. One of the users revealed that Aaliyah had been dropping hints about 'wanting a ring' for so long. One of the fans even predicted that her boyfriend, Shane, would propose to her in Bali. Another netizen commented on how she is just 22 to get married.

On May 20, 2023, Aaliyah took to her Instagram handle and posted two pictures announcing she got her dream proposal. In the first photo, she was seen flaunting her huge oval-shaped ring with the gorgeous beach backdrop. In the other photo, Aaliyah and Shane shared a liplock, and it was a beautiful moment. Alongside it, Aaliyah had written:
"THIS HAPPENED, to my best friend, my partner, my soulmate and now my Fiance! you are the love of my life. thank you for showing me what real and unconditional love feels like. saying yes to you was the easiest thing i’ve ever done & i can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you, my love.I love you forever & always Fiance (still can’t believe i get to call you that."
Not only this, Shane even recorded his proposal to Aaliyah secretly. The couple shared a Vlog of the same on their YouTube channel. Aaliyah was left emotional as she started crying. It was a lovely video of the two madly in love couple.
