Veteran devotional singer, Anuradha Paudwal's son, Aditya Paudwal is no more. Aditya, who was a composer and a producer, had given music for 'Saheb tu' for the film, Thackery, which was based on ShivSena founder, Bal Thackery. This was said to be his last project.
As per the latest reports, veteran playback singer, Anuradha Paudwal's 35-year-old son, Aditya Paudwal died in a Mumbai hospital on September 12, 2020. The cause of his death is said to be kidney failure. He was in the hospital for a few months due to kidney ailments. Aditya has left behind her mother, Anuradha and his sister, Kavita.
In an interaction with The Indian Express, composer-singer, Shankar Mahadevan talked about the terrible tragedy and said, "Aditya was only 35 and such a vivacious person. He was unwell for many many years actually. He had some physical ailments on and off, because of which he also had hypertension. He was unwell many years ago but then he recovered. He even got fit, but it recurred. It had to do something with his lungs and finally, his kidneys failed. Last four days he was in the hospital, in the ICU and this morning he passed away. Very sad." What an amazing musician and a lovely human being !! I just sang a song which was programmed by him so beautifully two days back ! Just can’t come to terms with this !! Love you brother … miss you”
Aditya Paudwal, just like his legendary mother, had aced the music industry. He was a composer and producer. According to News18, earlier this year, Aditya had talked about his mother in an interview and had said, "She has made a mark in devotional music. People still get moved by her performances. I have seen people's lives changing after listening to her devotional 'aartis' and 'mantras'. I would like to come up with a composition for my mother." In the same interview, he had also talked about his work in Thackery and had said, "When I was working with (composers) Rohan-Rohan on a Marathi film's score, they had mentioned to me about this song which they wanted on a epic scale with symphonic kind of an arrangement. This song basically shows the journey of Balasaheb Thackeray." He had further added, "This is the first time that a 72-piece orchestra has recorded in one go in a studio."
