Veteran Actor, Anupam Kher was shooting for his upcoming film, Uunchai, and after wrapping up the work, he had given his mother, Dulari Kher a big surprise visit. Recently, sharing a video about the same, he showed how his mother felt a roller coaster of emotions while looking at him. For the unversed, Anupam had made his acting debut with the film, Aagaman, in 1982. And since then, he has never looked back, and has been giving stellar performances in one after the other box office hit movies.
Anupam Kher is a complete family man, and the bond he shares with his mother, Dulari Kher is beyond words. He keeps sharing videos of his conversations with Dulari and we just can't stop gushing over them. For instance, on November 10, 2021, the actor had taken to his IG handle and had shared a hilarious video featuring him and Dulari. In the video, he had asked his mother to explain why she calls him 'Ganju Patel'. And while sharing the video, the actor had captioned it as:
"I finally asked Maa why she often calls me Ganju Patel. Instead of a sympathetic answer, she showed me the truth, and also recalled some stories from my childhood. Everyone was laughing, please join us."

A few hours ago, Anupam Kher took to his IG handle and shared an adorable video of his mother, Dulari Kher. The video began with Anupam's knock at the door, and soon we can see Dulari opening the door. She was overwhelmed by his sudden visit and hugged him. Further, when Anupam asked her whether she is happy or not about Anupam's surprise visit, she mentioned, "Happy? Can you feel how fast my heartbeat is? I am happy to see you, but why did you not inform me that you were coming?" To this, the actor was heard saying, "Maa ke jazbaat, maa ke jazbaat." The overexcited Dulari then went to their house's mandir, and when she saw that Anupam was still capturing her, she asked him to focus on the deities. In reply to this, Anupam moved his frame towards the murtis and said, "Nice to see you mata." Sharing the unmissable video, Anupam wrote:
"Main Kehta hu darwaja kholo maa!!! Reached Mumbai after a long schedule of #Uunchai in Delhi. Decided to surprise Mom. She was thrilled, happy, emotional and her heartbeats went faster. She was praying. You get to see her temple in this video. It is so gratifying to see her happy. Moms are so amazing. Earlier, Anupam Kher had been part of Vivek Agnihotri's directorial film, The Kashmir Files, which had made a tremendous collection at the box office. However, Anupam is himself a Kashmiri pandit, and time and again he has shown his pain and emotions attached to the historical event of 1990, very well through his acting in this movie. On March 19, 2022, Anupam had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a video of his mother, Dulari Kher, in which they could be heard involved in a conversation regarding the incident. In the video, Anupam had asked his mom to recall the tragedy and share some insights about the family members, whom they had lost during the genocide. In reply to this, Dulari had recalled what her brother had faced at that time and had said:
"Esme (The Kashmir Files) ek aana bhi galat nahin hain. Enhone bilkul esa he kara hamare saath, mere bhai ke saath kiya. Usko ghar ke neche chitthi mili, jis mein likha tha aaj aapki baari hain. Kahani poori duniya mein pahuch gayi hain ki kya hua tha. Mera bhai Rambagh mein rehta tha. Usne usi saal apna ghar banaya tha. Us bechare ne makaan ke kaagaz bhi nahin uthaye the.”

Sharing the heartwrenching video, Anupam Kher had penned a note, in which he had shared that although he had wanted to have a light-hearted discussion with his mother, Dulari Kher, about the success of his film, The Kashmir Files, his mom was in no such mood. Further the actor had explained that even after so many years, she still used to get devasted just by thinking about what had happened back in 1990 with the Kashmiri pandits. he had written:
"I wanted to be a little light hearted while telling Mom about the box office success of #TheKashmirFiles!! But she was in no such mood. She is focused, fearless, hurt, disillusioned and furious! She speaks about the ordeal of the #KashmiriHindus genocide. About women, children suffering and about her younger brother #MotiLalKak. And she takes on the politicians! Dulari is deeply hurt! #DulariRocks #KashmiriPandits #Genocide."
