Anthony Joshua's car crash occurred around 11:00 a.m. local time near the Sagamu Interchange in Ogun State. According to preliminary reports from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and local police, Anthony was a passenger in a black Lexus SUV traveling in a two-vehicle convoy when it collided with a stationary red commercial truck parked by the side of the road. Details of speeding, overtaking, and a tire burst were also shared. The FRSC reported that the heavyweight boxer's vehicle was suspected of exceeding the speed limit and lost control during an overtaking maneuver.
