Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain’s wedding was a three-day-long affair, which totally blew everyone’s mind owing to the grand nature of it. From mehendi to sangeet, from engagement to wedding, everything looked like a scene from Karan Johar’s movie. Yes, it was all larger than life! And it looked obvious that her wedding plans were not made overnight or even in a few months as it was so lavish. Ankita’s best friend from Pavitra Rishta days, Mrinalini Tyagi split the beans about how the actress planned for her wedding for two long years.
It was on December 14, 2021, when Ankita Lokhande had tied the knot with her boyfriend, Vicky Jain, leaving everyone in awe of their happiness. Soon after the wedding, she had shared a series of pictures from the same on her IG handle. From Ankita’s bridal entry towards the mandap or taking the saat pheras with Vicky, the pictures had summarised their wedding beautifully. Ankita had captioned the photos as:
''Love is patient but we’re not. Surprise! We’re now officially Mr & Mrs Jain!''

Well, Ankita Lokhande is Mrs Jain now, and her friends are surely going to miss her as she begins the new chapter of her life. In a conversation with ETimes TV, Ankita’s BFF, Mrinalini Tyagi talked about how the now-new bride was planning for her wedding for the last two long years. Stating that from what to wear to who will perform on her sangeet, Ankita was clear about everything well in advance. She said:
"I was going through mixed feelings seeing Ankita as the bride. Ankita has been planning this wedding for two years and we all were in it. We have had sleepless nights thinking about it. From deciding that we would have Badshah from sangeet to what she will wear for the functions. And see Badshah actually performed. I am very happy for her. I even clicked a picture during Haldi which is very similar to a picture from Pavitra Rishta days."
Talking about Ankita and Vicky’s relationship, Mrinalini called them to be soulmates. Calling Vicky to be typical shaadi material, Mrinalini said:
"Vicky is a very nice guy and is not from the industry but has gelled well with everyone. It has been an opposite attract kind of thing for Ankita and Vicky. He is a typical Shaadi material and I am super happy for both of them. They are perfect soulmates. They are a power couple and they are both amazing in their fields."

Mrinalini also expressed her feelings on seeing her best friend, Ankita as a bride and how she will miss their late-night chats and outings. She concluded:
"I am super excited and happy for Ankita and Vicky and wish them a happy married life. But at the same time, I am getting emotional. Now she is Mrs Ankita Lokhande Jain and I am going to miss our long chats, night outs, and chilling with her. She’s a married woman now and I want to give her that privacy as she is starting a new chapter and journey in life. Now, she has Vicky in her life and her time is now Vicky’s. She is entering a life from friend zone to family zone. Seeing her as a bride made me so emotional. I am happy I’ve spent a lot of time before marriage and I just want her to live all the happy moments with Vicky."
