Not all relationships that do not work out deserve hatred and Ankita Lokhande has proved that time and again. Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput were in a relationship for more than six years and were one of the most loved couples on Indian Television. The couple had developed a good bond while shooting for their show, Pavitra Rishta and had started dating back then. Ankita and Sushant had called it quit in 2016 and by that time Sushant had earned a name in Bollywood.

Ankita and Sushant had made their place in the hearts of the audiences through their roles of Manav and Archana in their debut show, Pavitra Rishta. Though Sushant had left the show in between owing to his dream to make it big in Bollywood, the duo was still dating back then. However, when the couple had broken up in 2016, it was not only a shock but a major disappointment for their fans. While both Sushant and Ankita had maintained their silence on the reason behind their breakup, Sushant was often linked up with his female co-stars. It was in 2020 that suddenly the actor was found hanging at his apartment in Bandra. Ankita had forgotten all the differences and had stood beside his family when they had needed someone at that hour of distress.
Ankita Lokhande is an avid social media user and recently she took to her Instagram stories to share what's in her mind. The actress shared thought-provoking lines on love and relationship on her Instagram story which can be read as "When it comes to LOVE and relationships, you can think of it like a mirror..... If you LOVE yourself....you will find more people have love for you. If you respect yourself....you will find more people have respect for you. If you value yourself.... you will find more people value you." Along with this thought-provoking quote, the actress also shared some pictures from the fan pages reminiscing the old Pavitra Rishta days.

Today is also a special day for Ankita Lokhande and other star cast of Pavitra Rishta as the show has completed twelve long years. Ankita has taken to her IG handle to share a video to express her feelings towards the show and wrote, "12 years of Pavitra rishta. 12Years!! A few months back, Ankita Lokhande had revealed that Sushant Singh Rajput was her favourite co-star. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, she had revealed why their photos were there in her house even after their breakup. She had recalled how every time someone would come to her house and urge her to remove the photographs. She had shared "Give me time, yaar. I need my time.I am not somebody who will run away from the situation. I was getting up and facing that thing every day so that agar Sushant kabhi mere samne aaye toh I face him strongly. That was my thought process." However, the actress has got rid of those pictures now and is happy with her boyfriend, Vicky Jain and is going to tie the knot soon.
