Television actress, Ankita Lokhande is going through a difficult phase in her personal life as her father, Shashikant Lokhande left for the heavenly abode on August 12, 2023. Ankita, who has been keeping a brave front, penned an emotional eulogy for her late father.
Taking to her IG handle, Ankita shared some priceless memories with her father with some unseen glimpses of the father-daughter love. Along with it, the doting daughter penned an emotional note. An excerpt of which can be read as:
“I can’t describe you in words but I want to say that I have never seen such strong, energetic and adorable person in my life.. I got to know about u more when u left us .. everyone who came to see u they were just just just praising you like how u used to send good morning messages to them everyday, how u used to call people or video call them when u missed them .. u kept every relationship with everyone so alive... and now I know why I’m also like this it’s because of u my paa.”

On the same note, Ankita revealed how her life revolved around her father, and now that he left the world, nothing is left for the family. In her words:
“Me and mamma from last 3 day just thinking now what to do in once we get up because u kept us on toes dadda... pappa ka khana pappa ke fruits pappa ka breakfast and etc etc etc but now we have nothing left because u left us... Thanku for making us more and more stronger than before paa and yes u we’re lucky to have a wife like my mom .. she gave u everything she had.. literally everything and I know u loved her so much.”

Ankita Lokhande broke all the stereotypes when she gave kandha to her father after his death. As per the Hindu rituals, a daughter is not allowed to give kandha to her father, but Ankita, who had been very close to her father and took care of her parents like a son, gave kandha to her father’s body. Ankita’s husband, Vicky Jain stood like a pillar of strength for her.
