In her professional life, Ankita is currently basking in glory for securing 4th place in Bigg Boss 17. In her personal life, Ankita is married to Vicky Jain. However, in a recent interview, Ankita opened up about her bond with the 'Queen' of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut.
In a chat with Siddharth Kannan, Ankita Lokhande revealed that she shares a very sister-like bond with Kangana Ranaut, which was formed during the shoot of Manikarnika. The Bigg Boss 17 3rd runner-up mentioned that when she first met Kangana on the set of Manikarnika, she never thought that they would create such a wonderful bond, but after the Queen actress started to direct her, their foundation continued to be strong enough.

The Pavitra Rishta actress also added that there's nothing special about her and Kangana's story, but their vibe matches, and the latter says that the former is just like her. Ankita can be quoted as saying:
"Actually maine and Kangana ne kabhi socha nahi tha ki hum itne close ho jayegage but jab hum Manikarnika pe mile, jab Kangana ne actually mujhe direct karna chalu kiya tab se hamara wo foundation aur strong banta gaya. Kangana aur meri kahani aise kuch hai nahi but woh hamesha dekh k mujhe bolti hai, ‘Yaar ye toh hamare jaise hai, yaar pagal, ekdum pagal.’ I think wo vibe hai meri aur Kangana ki jo bhout ache se match karti hai."
In the same interview, Ankita Lokhande added that Kangana Ranaut was extremely worried about whatever had been going on in the former's life during her stint in Bigg Boss 17. Ankita stated how Kangana called her mom and talked about the same. Speaking more about how Kangana motivates her, Ankita shared that after coming out of the BB house, she had a long chat with the Queen actress, and the latter provided the former with some tips about how to deal with stuff. Ankita further mentioned that Kangana even watched her interviews and shared how proud she was of the Pavitra Rishta actress. Ankita stated:
"I want to say this, mai Bigg Boss me thi, tab bhi Kangana me meri mumma se baat ki. And jo bhi meri life me chal raha tha, she was very worried about everything. Kal meri koi interview dekh ke, she messaged me, ‘This is how I want to see Ankita. I am very proud of you.’ Mujhe Kangana hamesha motivate kiya hai."
Not only did Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain's fight in Bigg Boss 17 grab all the attention, but also Vicky's mom, Ranjana, caught all the limelight for her comments on actress-bahu. Apart from that, Ranjana seemingly blamed Ankita for all the tiffs she had with the former's son, which netizens didn't like, and started bashing her. However, it was Kangana who came in support of Ankita's saas. Sharing a photo of Ranjana Jain, Kangana penned a long note and stated how people couldn't see that the diva's MIL was rooting for her to win. Ankita Lokhande was one of the much-loved contestants in Bigg Boss 17, and there's no second thought about it. In an interview with Pinkvilla, the diva shared that she was upset over not being able to bag the winner's trophy, but she was trying to cope with things. Talking about Munawar Faruqui being the winner, Ankita stated that the comedian was a deserving contestant, but all of them worked hard in the show.
