Popular actress, Ankita Lokhande tied the knot with her businessman-husband, Vicky Jain, in December 2021. However, before that, she was madly in love with late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, who died by suicide in 2020. For the unversed, Ankita and Sushant dated for six years before finally calling it quits in 2016. In a recent interview, Ankita Lokhande opened up about her emotional breakup with Sushant and finding love again in her life.
In a heart-to-heart conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Ankita Lokhande opened up about her love life and said that she never rejected love even after parting ways with Sushant. Adding that she never lost faith in love, the actress shared that she always believed that someone would make her fall in love with him and fulfil her dreams. Talking about the same, she said:
“After whatever happened, and after two years, mera kabhi pyaar par se vishwas nahi utha. I was so confident that I am made for this. There is a guy for me who will come, who will fulfill my dreams, who will give me that wedding. Main kabhi pyaar ko reject nahi kar payi. I always had this feeling that yes there is someone for me. I think mera joh existence hai woh love hai. And that’s what I feel.”

Further in the conversation, Ankita talked about her relationship with her husband, Vicky Jain and mentioned how he spoils her. She added that everyone used to tell her that she has manifested everything strongly as Vicky is fulfilling all her wishes. Stating that there's a lot of comfort between her and Vicky, Ankita said:
“I only want to give love and get love, and I knew always ki mere liye koi hai aur wahi tha. Mujhe sab bolte bhi hai that ki tune sab itna strongly manifest kia hai na uss cheez ko, pyaar ko, shaadi ko, that he is in my life and he is fulfilling my each and every dream of mine. I think the way he just loves me, I just love it. I don’t know ek comfort hai hum dono ke beech bohot jyada.”
Meanwhile, Vicky Jain also opened up about being a part of his wife, Ankita Lokhande’s life when she was going through a difficult time after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. He revealed how he was in the news constantly and faced social media trolls but added that he knew what he was getting into when he entered into a relationship with Ankita. In his words:
“I can say that I got a sense at that point about what I should be doing and this is what I had committed for. In life, you don’t know what will happen, nobody knows, but everybody goes through something. I’ve always believed we both are a team. Whatever is happening to her, it’s just not her, I am also there. Whatever may happen, we will face the music together.”

Vicky then heaped praises on his partner and shared that Ankita has always been his priority and he has immense respect for her. The doting husband mentioned that Ankita is very protective of her relationship and that he loves her for the same. Reflecting on Ankita's traits, Vicky said:
“You know what I have always respected about Ankita? It is that Ankita has always been very protective about her relationships. There was a time when whatever was happening, all the aspects of news were not covered, Ankita had an important responsibility at the time.”
However, whatever happened back then, Vicky and Ankita decided to be honest with each other and speak up whenever it was required. Instead of running away from the crisis they both did not fight at all during the rough patch. In the same interview, Vicky said that there was clear communication between them and they stood together like a team. Though Vicky is not a public figure and remains disconnected from the outside world, he never shied away from taking a stand for Ankita during the most challenging phase of their lives.
