One of them is Kanya pujan, in which nine girls of up to 10 years of age are fed with the delicacies like halwa-chane-puri and are given gifts. This is basically a way of offering respect and worshipping Goddess Durga on the ninth day of Navratri.

Television actress, Ankita Bhargava also gave a glimpse of Kanya Pujan at her home and how she readied her little princess, Mehr, for the same. For the uninitiated, Ankita had embraced motherhood for the first time with the arrival of a baby girl on December 14, 2019.
A few moments ago, Ankita Bhargava took to her IG handle and shared a beautiful picture of her little princess, Mehr's little feet, all decked with customary red kumkum, all ready for Kanya pujan. The doting mommy penned a note alongside the picture, and it can be read as "Kanya Poojan It is a way of acknowledging the feminine power within a girl child and honouring them on this day. Stay Home, Stay Safe isn't really an ideal situation for a lot of women/girls out there. Herez hoping that this day will reinforce the fact that Girls/Women are considered to be Goddesses in our country and should be given the respect they deserve AT EVERY STAGE IN LIFE! Happy Kanjak!"
Ankita often ensures to make her little girl a part of every major festival and celebration. On the occasion of International Women's Day, Ankita had posted a candid picture with her baby girl, Mehr. It had beautifully depicted the mother-daughter duo's loving bond as they were looking out of the window. Alongside it, Ankita had penned a note, which had revealed how she got to know about her superpowers after becoming a mother. In January 2021, Ankita and Karan had taken their daughter, Mehr on her first International vacation to the Maldives. On January 20, 2021, Ankita had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a cutesy picture from her holiday. In the picture, we could see Karan and Ankita in the pool, while Mehr was happily enjoying in her baby float. Alongside it, Ankita had written, "She was totally the cutest thing on that Island! Nopes Correction! She is the cutest thing on this entire planet."
Ankita Bhargava often talks about her motherhood journey on her IG handle, and April 17, 2021, was no different. The loving mommy had posted a lovely picture with her daughter Mehr. In her long note, she had talked in detail about breastfeeding and had written, "Breastfeeding....
