When it is meant to be, it just happens! Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava’s love story is such as the two had never met each other despite the fact that Karan had worked with Ankita’s father, Abhay Bhargava in the popular show, Ye Hain Mohabbatein. Aly Goni had played the role of a Cupid in their love story as he had introduced the two and was the reason for their union. It was on December 14, 2019, when a stork had visited Karan and Ankita’s life and had blessed them with a little angel, Mehr. The baby girl is growing up fast and the mommy is ensuring that she is blessed with the best parenting.

From developing reading habit in Mehr since her birth to teaching her the sense of responsibility, Karan and Ankita are setting the right standards of parenting. On March 13, 2021, Ankita had taken to her IG handle and had shared Mehr’s pictures, indulging with art and colours. In the pictures, Mehr had spotted a heart and Ankita had loved how her baby girl had identified colours. Ankita had captioned her post as “Yes Missy, U have My Heart…Art and Colors had healed my soul sometime back. I want her to understand this power too! Start them young!”
Ankita shared pictures of her baby girl, Mehr on her IG handle again and this time, she captured her daughter’s creativity. In the pictures, like every other child, Mehr’s obsession with drawing on walls can be seen clearly. Mehr treats the walls of her house as her canvas and loves to make some artistic piece on them with her crayons. Ankita shared Mehr’s pictures and mentioned how watching her daughter messing up with the walls make her happy. She wrote, “Let Their Rooms Be Tidy, But The Walls, Messy! Dunno how many of u will relate to this... But This makes me sooooooo happy! Just letting her-Grow –Dream –Create –Achieve -Be Herself -Preserve Free Will I am smiling”
On March 15, 2021, Ankita Bhargava had taken to her IG handle and had shared pictures of Mehr reading her book. In the pictures, Mehr had looked adorable as she sat on her mommy’s lap, engrossed in her book. Along with the pictures, Ankita had revealed how she had inculcated the habit of reading in Mehr from a very early stage. She had revealed the reason behind putting Mehr into this habit and had written, “Mehr was yet to be born when I had decided that I would want my baby to inculcate the habit of reading right from the start. This is one addiction I wish I Had! But I never land up finishing any book that i start reading,I always leave it mid way! Sadly!”

Ankita had further revealed how her daughter began the process of reading and had stated that she had pre-ordered some books when Mehr was a baby. She had added, “For the FIRST & SECOND MONTH I had pre ordered some high contrast flash cards apt for new born babies.Since they dont really see colors for the first few weeks of life. Black and white cards with various shapes and images. Hold these cards 10-12” away from the baby and let them glance at the images. Use one card at a time. Keep showing the same card for 3-4 days before introducing the next one.Also keep telling your baby what it is that you are showing them for eg A Circle, Square, Rabbit etc etc. Be slow. Be Patient. You can get these cards in any baby shop or you can also make them at home with a black marker and white paper.”
