After weeks of speculations, Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy had confirmed their pregnancy and announcing that soon they’ll be embracing parenthood, she had posted a video on their IG handle. Sharing a lovely video of their journey from being girlfriend-boyfriend, proposal, marriage and finally to-be parents, Anita had captioned the video with two hearts adding up to three followed by “Love you @rohitreddygoa #gettingreadyforreddy.” 2021 is indeed the year to excitedly look forward to for Anita and Rohit as next year in February, they’ll welcome their first child.
A while back, Anita Hassanandani posted videos on her IG stories, wherein the mommy-to-be can be seen holding a little baby in her arms. While Anita is excited to caress a baby as she envisions the time when she’ll be holding her own in her arms, she is nervous too. Anita added a poll on her video, with two options, nervous and ready. Now that Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy are ‘getting ready for Reddy’, in an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, she had revealed what they’ll name their child. The news of her pregnancy was confirmed to Anita around June when her father-in-law was admitted in the hospital and a few days later, he had passed away. Revealing that Rohit believes that his father is returning as their child, Anita had said, "A few days later, he passed away. Now, Rohit, believes his father is returning as our child, so, if we have a son, we will name him Ravi after him." Effectively shutting down the incessant talks about women and their 'ticking biological clock', Anita Hassanandani, who conceived at the age of 39, had shared in an interview with The Times of India, “The age-factor did play on my mind. Many people told me that it’s going to be tough, it overwhelms you. But once I conceived naturally, I realised that age is just a number. You need to be mentally and physically fit for everything to fall in place. Jo naseeb mein likha hota hai, woh toh hota hi hai.” Speaking of how she and Rohit had planned the baby when they were ‘ready’ and not when the society 'expected' them to have a child, Anita had said, “Today, Rohit and I feel well-settled — we are financially and mentally in a place where we are ready to have a child.”
Anita Hassanandani had kept the news of her pregnancy a secret from the past few months but she hadn’t kept herself away from posting pictures on social media. Sometime back, Anita had posted a mirror selfie from the sets of her serial, Naagin and we can see her flaunting her mini baby bump. Revealing that it was taken from the time when no one a clue about her pregnancy, Anita had captioned her post as “Initial days when no one had a clue.
