And Bollywood actor, Anil Kapoor has been through the same volcano of emotions when his daughter, Sonam Kapoor had tied the knot with the love of her life, Anand Ahuja. We all know that Sonam shares a great bond with her father, Anil and for her, he is always going to be the most handsome man alive on this earth. We still remember in an interview with Pinkvilla, the actress had shared that she is her father's favourite child and shares his personality traits. She had also revealed that her father wanted her to be an actress but her mother wanted her to finish her studies and because of which her acting dream was delayed.
Recently, in an interview with The Times of India, Anil Kapoor opened up on his bond with his daughter, Sonam. The actor shared that he misses daughter, Sonam a lot more ever since she had gotten married. He said, "Our bond has grown even stronger since she got married. I definitely miss her more, now that she is not at home with us. Thank God we live in an age of connectivity! Sonam and Anand are probably the two people I call the most now."
Anil Kapoor also revealed about his relationship with his kids. He stated that his children are his best buddies and he is proud of that fact. The actor also shared that he never had to chase them because they always keep him informed about what's going on in their lives. Earlier, in an interview with the Bombay Times, Anil had shared one of the most important changes he has noticed in his 'not-so-little-anymore' daughter, Sonam. He had revealed that Sonam had started cooking in London. However, he hasn't tried any of her dishes but he has heard that she cooks well. The actor had also stated that his relationship with his damaad, Anand Ahuja is of friends.
In an interview with Planet Bollywood, Sonam had talked about her relationship with her parents. She had shared, "My parents gave me everything but they also ensured that I was brought up as normally as possible. My parents are a unit and they make joint decisions. At the end of the day, my dad comes home and leaves his work behind, so there has never been any conflict with that. From my mother, we learned to be sensitive to world issues and this awareness was instilled in us. I studied theatre arts, English and History and hence, have a good perspective on the world and larger issues and try not to get carried away with the smaller stuff."
