Angelina Jolie Hired A Detective For Brad Pitt, Caught Him Cheating And Fooling Around With Co-Star

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were Hollywood's power couple. The couple tied the knot in 2014 after years of romance. However, before their marriage, Angelina and Brad expanded their family by adopting children and welcoming their own biological kids. However, their seemingly perfect love story came to an end when Jolie filed for a divorce from Pitt in 2016.

As per multiple reports, Pitt was reported to have got cosy with his Allied co-star, Marion Cotillard, while they were filming World War II drama in London. The reports further stated that Pitt was partying with Cotillard like a single guy on a mission. He didn’t care about his marital status or his children. Pitt’s philandering ways surely distressed Jolie.

Days after the couple announced their split, reports surfaced that Jolie had hired a PI to keep an eye on Pitt. But when she learned that the reports about him and Cotillard were true, she decided to part ways with him. Elaborating on the same, a source revealed:

“She hired a private eye because she felt that he was fooling around with her on the set, and it turns out, he was. And that was the final straw. The atmosphere [off-set] was full of hard drugs and Russian hookers, and Angie was told Brad got caught up in it. He’s in the throes of some insane midlife crisis, and Angie is fed up.”

However, soon the news of his affair with Jolie led all the headlines which eventually led to his divorce from Aniston and he and Jolie publicly stepped out as a couple. Much later both Jolie and Pitt admitted that they did fell in love during Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

Soon, they started travelling the world together while doing humanitarian work. The couple expanded their family and adopted children, Maddox and Zahara. Soon, Jolie and Pitt welcomed their first biological child, Shiloh, in 2006, and subsequently adopted Pax. They completed their family of six with the birth of twins, Knox and Vivienne, in 2008. After spending almost a decade together, Jolie and Pitt got married in 2014.

Within just two years, Angelia Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, citing irreconcilable differences. A source told The Post that in addition to her husband’s alleged affair, Jolie, 41, was sick and tired of constantly sparring over their lifestyle. The source also stated that Jolie wanted to quit Hollywood in favour of devoting herself full-time to travelling the globe for her humanitarian work, while Pitt prefers Tinseltown and its parties. Another source told TMZ that Jolie believes that her hubby’s drinking and pot-smoking are affecting their kids. Soon, Jolie and Pitt’s split gave way to one of the most highly publicised custody and legal disputes.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's divorce battle turned extremely ugly when details about their marital life surfaced. In a court filing, Jolie allegedly stated that Pitt tried to abuse her physically. He had grabbed her by her head and shaken her. Not only this, she claimed that he even choked one of their children and struck another one who came to protect her. 

The allegations of abuse first made headlines shortly after the flight that they had taken in 2016. But the details were initially kept sealed. A source also cited that Pitt’s ‘anger issues’ led to the couple’s split. As per The New York Times, in the filing, Angelina Jolie highlighted the incident that happened on September 14, 2016, when the ex-couple was travelling with their six children from the winery, Chateau Miraval, to Los Angeles. 

Pitt’s aggressive behaviour with the kids began when they were at the airport, and when Jolie intervened, he accused her of being 'too deferential' to the children. He verbally slammed Jolie and physically assaulted her. But when one of her children came running to protect her, Pitt lunged at his own children, while choking one and hitting another in the face.

Recently, Pitt and Jolie’s kids dropped his last name, and the couple’s strained relationship once again came to the limelight. As per multiple sources, Pitt has very limited connection with his children. A person close to Brad Pitt believes the actor's struggles with his children stem directly from how they were raised. The source added that whatever Angelina has fed them has eventually resulted in the strained relationship between Shiloh, Vivienne, Knox, Maddox, and Zahara.
