For those unaware, the duo was arrested on Saturday, July 18, 2026, by the US Marshals Service in Miami after the British authorities announced a major expansion of the criminal case against them. As of now, they are facing an additional 38 charges against them. While they await trial, here's a look at when Andrew’s ex-girlfriend said that he was a kind man before their relationship took a turn.

Andrew Tate's ex-girlfriend, Bri Stern, sued the influencer for once attacking her during sex. She claimed that he had also attacked her with a barrage of sickening insults, physical abuse, and threats to “ruin my life, rape me, and kill me” if she ever decided to betray him.
Bri accused him of sending her a slew of threatening messages, including “What's the point in having you if I don't beat and impregnate you.” According to the model, their relationship unraveled in a way that she never expected. However, detailing the early days of their relationship, she noted that everything was wonderful.
Bri said that she “thought he was so kind, so sweet, so warm and loving. Everything was great in the beginning. He even talked about how much he respected women.”
Bri revealed it was one of their mutual friends who had hooked her up with Andrew Tate, describing him as a “big teddy bear.” She claimed that before she met him and his brother, Tristan, in Romania, she had no idea about her ex-boyfriend’s controversial internet comments.
In an interview after Bri filed her lawsuit against Andrew, she said that near the end of her relationship, she was “scared to death.” She recalled shocking details of a horrifying night in a Beverly Hills hotel where she accused the influencer of choking her to the point that she passed out. Even though she begged him to stop, Andrew just kept going.
Bri found the opportunity to escape in the early morning hours when Andrew told her to “shut the fuck up bitch. You will never backtalk to me. You are my property.” Recalling how she escaped, she said:
“My heart was beating so fast, and I was really anxious, but there was something in me that just told me, ‘You need to go, run.’”
What are the charges against Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate in their recent arrest?
According to reports, Andrew and Tristan are being charged with new offences on top of their previous allegations, which had occurred between July 2010 and August 2017. These offenses included seven alleged victims, up from three in their earlier case. Although the US authorities haven't revealed the sealed warrant to the public, British prosecutors confirmed that the brothers’ arrests are linked to their request to extradite them to face trial in the UK.
For those who don't know, before Andrew and Tristan’s recent arrest, they already had 21 charges filed against them. Now, Andrew is facing 32 additional offences. This includes 7 further counts of rape, 3 counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, 3 counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, along with 19 offences which involved indecent images of a child and extreme pornography.
Coming to Tristan, he is facing six additional charges for multiple offences. The charges against him include sexual assault, two counts of rape, and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation. However, it is worth mentioning that both he and Andrew have continued to deny all the allegations against them.
