Popular actress, Ananya Panday is the daughter of Bhavana Pandey and actor, Chunky Panday. For the unversed, on January 17, 1998, Chunky and Bhavana had tied the knot with each other. They have two beautiful daughters, Ananya and Rysa. Ananya had made her acting debut on May 10, 2019, with the film, Student Of The Year 2. She had also won the Best Debut (Female) Filmfare Award for her performance in the film, Student Of The Year 2. For the last few days, Ananya has been storming the internet with her stunning looks for the promotions of her film, Gehraiyaan, released on February 11, 2022.
Apart from her stunning looks and acting prowess, Ananya Panday has also been the talk of the town for her relationship rumours with Ishaan Khatter. And her proud parents, Chunky Panday and Bhavana Pandey, who have always been the best cheerleaders for their daughter's success, opened up in an interview about the kind of man they are looking for her.

Bollywood actor, Chunky Panday is known for his comic timing and he has often amazed us with his effortless acting. He is also known for his joyful and humble nature. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Chunky with his wife, Bhavana Pandey, shared their thoughts about the kind of person they want to see Ananya with. Chunky, who pampered his daughters all his life, merrily mentioned that his wife and daughters have high standards, and so he is quite choosy for Ananya. He said:
"I feel very bad for the guys because I know my daughters. They are not easy to handle. I have been handling them all my life. I mean, yes. They have to be better than her dad. I have always pampered my girls and always told them to have very, very, very high standards and expect the best. I have learned that from Bhavana. Bhavana has been very important in setting the high standard and setting the bar very high."
Chunky's loving wife and Ananya's doting mother, Bhavana Pandey, added that with 'high standards' they mean as a person and not about materialistic things of life. She also talked about Ananya's interview during the film, Gehraiyaan's promotions, and it had made her happy to see her daughter keep the belief in love and marriage. Bhavana added:
"Not materialistically. When we are talking about setting the bar high, it is as a person. I have been watching Ananya's interviews, and I have been watching it especially during the Gehraiyaan promotions, and it got to do with infidelity and things like that. And somewhere I feel happy that she still believes in the institution of marriage and being together. She's still got that because somewhere I think she has seen her parents or people around, so she does believe in the idea of love".

In an episode of DiscoveryPlus show, Star vs Food, Chunky Panday had made an appearance with his daughter, Ananya Panday and his wife, Bhavana Pandey. During the show, Ananya had cooked two dishes, and after tasting each, her father, Chunky, had jokingly teased her. He had said:
"See Ananya, I won't blame you if you've gone slightly wrong, because it's a hereditary problem. No one in the family knows how to cook, especially on your mother's side."
In the recent past, Ananya has also been a subject to a lot of backlash and hatred because of the nepotism debate. When the teaser of Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter's film, Khaali Peeli had gone live on YouTube, people had smashed it with the title 'nepotistic disaster', and it had 67k likes and 657k dislikes in the first 24 hours. Well, her father, Chunky Panday, in an interview with News 18, had talked about the hate and outrage his daughter, Ananya Panday, was receiving all over the internet. He had also added his perspective about people's emotional state amid COVID-19. He had said:
"If someone does say something, we have just to take it in our stride. What else can we do? There's no other solution to this. Being an actor, celebrity or a film star, it has some plus points and some minus points. Right now, people have gone a little too sensitive because of the whole situation (coronavirus pandemic) we are in right now."
