As per a report in Times Now, Anand Mahindra's grandfather, KC Mahindra rented a house at Mumbai's Nepean Sea Road during his time.

At the time when KC Mahindra was shifted to the residence, Anand Mahindra was not even born, but in the following years, the latter lived in that same house for decades. After so many years, the house owners decided to demolish it and renovate it from scratch.
As soon as this news reached Anand Mahindra, the billionaire wasted no time in purchasing the property, which was dipped in the memories of his family, especially of his grandfather, KC Mahindra.

As per the report, Anand Mahindra purchased the 13,000-acre property at a staggering price tag of Rs. 270 crore. The name of the property is Gulistan, which means a land of flowers. Well, it is indeed a land of flowers for Anand Mahindra, who has spent decades living on it. As soon as the news of this purchase made its way online, people started lauding the billionaire for resuscitating his roots.
Talking about Anand Mahindra's personal life, he is married to Anuradha Mahindra, who is the founder of Verve Magazine. The couple got married on June 17, 1985. Anand and Anuradha are parents to two daughters, Aalika Mahindra and Divya Mahindra. Despite belonging to the famous Mahindra family, Aalika and Divya prefer to stay away from the media spotlight.
