It is time for celebration in the Pataudi and Kapoor households, all thanks to the news of Kareena Kapoor Khan’s pregnancy. Saif and Kareena, who got married in October, 2012, are expecting their first child.
The news brought along with it a wave of happiness for all the friends and followers of Saifeena.

Saif Ali Khan confirmed the news while talking to a leading daily.
He said:
"My wife and I would like to announce that we are expecting our first child in December. We would like to thank our well-wishers for their blessings and support and also the press for their discretion and patience."
As soon as the news of Kareena’s pregnancy broke out, warm wishes from her friends and fans started pouring in. But, looks like a certain someone is not very happy about it. Saif Ali Khan’s ex-wife and the mother of his two children, Amrita Singh, reportedly reacted very furiously, when asked about Kareena’s pregnancy by an online portal.
Here is what she said:
"How do you have the guts to call people and ask such random questions ? Who are you ? Don’t call me again!"
Well, we think the woman’s reaction is pretty legitimate, since she is Saif’s ex-wife! Don’t you think so?
Apart from Amrita, whose reaction wasn’t pleasant in any way, a lot of warm wishes and blessings have been coming the couple’s way.
When Sharmila Tagore was asked on how she was feeling about having another grandkid, she said:
"It will be wonderful to be the grandmother of three cool kids."
Aww, Sharmila! We think you will be a pretty cool grandma yourself!
A lot of Kareena’s friends have been congratulating her on the good news. The cutest one we have come across is from Tusshar Kapoor though. Tusshar and Kareena have been close friends for over a decade now. Tusshar himself became a father recently, and therefore his message for Kareena was a very adorable one. Take a look:
"When I came to know the news, I immediately congratulated her. Our children will be almost the same age and can go to the same school together. They will keep each other company and play together. Bebo and I have been friends for over a decade. Though we had met many times as kids — my dad (Jeetendra) and her mother (Babita) have worked together — we became thick friends post Mujhe Kuchh Kehna Hai. We might not meet every day, but she is my true buddy. I am very happy that she and Saif are expecting their first baby. It’s God’s biggest blessing for every parent. I am sure Bebo and Saif will make wonderful parents."
Isn’t that so touching and sweet? We are excited to see these two star kids grow up to be great buddies too! And, well, this is not all. Tusshar had something else to add:
"What’s going to be fun is that now when Bebo, Amu (Amrita Arora Ladhak) and I meet, instead of our usual chatter, our conversations will center around our babies. Our conversations will change and revolve around the gen next that is going to come in due course."

Kareena Kapoor is going to begin shooting for her new movie, Veere Di Wedding, alongside Sonam Kapoor in August, 2016. The movie is being directed by Ekta Kapoor, and produced by Rhea Kapoor, Sonam’s sister. Rhea had a very adorable congratulatory message for Kareena too. Here it is:
"Ekta Kapoor and I, with our families and companies, are delighted and excited for Kareena and Saif! As producers of Veere Di Wedding we are thrilled to be part of their special journey! Bebo is a thorough professional and will start the shoot of the film in August.Much like the spirit of our film, which celebrates the modern girl. Kareena is going on with her work and life as usual and we couldn't be prouder to have her!"
News was rife that the shooting of the movie would be disrupted due to Kareena’s pregnancy, but the aforementioned statement by Rhea Kapoor, rubbishes all such rumours.
Manish Malhotra, Bollywood’s favourite fashion designer and close friend to Kareena disclosed that he and Karan Johar, another great friend of Bebo, already knew about her pregnancy.

Well, of course, since they are such good friends. But, he anyway had a sweet message for her too:
"I'm very happy for Kareena. She's very special to me."
A lot of wishes have been constantly coming in for Saifeena, but the cutest, most innocent one has to be from Harshali Malhotra, the child actress who worked with Salman Khan and Kareena in Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Harshali’s mom told an entertainment website that the cutie pie had the most amazing reaction to Kareena’s pregnancy. This is what she kept asking her mom:
"Hum kab jayenge baby ko milne?"
Isn’t that so adorable? In an interview, Kareena had once said that Harshaali was like her own child.
Bipasha Basu also congratulated Kareena and Saif when she said:
"I am very happy for Kareena and Saif and that their family is now becoming bigger."
Kareena’s Ki & Ka director, R Balki, had something really sweet to say to the pretty mom-to-be:
"Huge congratulations to Kareena and a warm hug."
