We are talking about Amrita Rao, the actress who created waves on silver screen with her portrayal of Poonam, the girl-next-door in blockbuster movie Vivah, opposite Shahid Kapoor. The beautiful actress got married to RJ Anmol in an intimate ceremony.

Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol (the host of Purani Jeans on Radio Mirchi) tied the knot secretly as they are known to be extremely private people. They got married in Mumbai, in the presence of their close friends and family. The couple dated for seven years before tying the knot.

Their love story is very interesting. The couple met seven years ago, where Anmol was taking Amrita’s interview. After that they became friends, fell in love and today they are a happily married couple!
A day before the wedding, a source close the couple confirmed the news, saying:
"Amrita has never spoken about her relationship because she is a very private person. Anmol (a radio and TV anchor) and she were sure about settling down, but the wedding was planned only recently. The ceremony will be attended by their immediate families and close friends. Since both of them are busy with their work commitments right now, they will plan a bigger celebration some time later."

Putting all gossipmongers to rest, RJ Anmol shared this picture and a sweet message, confirming their wedding:
"An interview that started seven years back, continues...Only to get stronger today! Just married! Amrita and I need your good wishes."
Recently after the wedding, Amrita also shared her wedding news with her well-wishers. Here is what she said:
"It’s been seven years of a blissful relationship and I’m the luckiest to find a soulmate in my life partner. We had a very small (wedding) ceremony with our immediate family members only. Now I am back to shooting for Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai. I will be looking forward to spending more time now with Anmol whenever I get a break from the shoot."
On work front, Amrita is currently seen in a show, Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai, which airs on &TV. And if rumours are to be believed, then even Anmol will make his debut on television on the same channel. As per various reports, he has been approached for a light-hearted comedy show, Life Ka Recharge. A source from the show has been quoted by a tabloid as saying:
"Anmol has been approached to host the show and the discussion with the makers is going on in full swing. The show is set to be shot exclusively in Jaipur."
