While some parents believe in the concept of having less age gap between two kids so that they can grow up together, another set of parents believe in having a considerate gap between kids so that they can manage them well. Neither approach is wrong, but what’s wrong is forcing someone to have a child just so that the first baby can have company. In a recent interview, actress, Amrita Rao shared if she plans a second child soon.
For the unversed, Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol were blessed with a baby boy on November 1, 2020, whom they have lovingly named Veer. The couple had announced the birth of their baby boy on their IG handles with a cute note that could be read as:
"Buoy O Boy... Yes, it's a 'Boy'... Amrita and the Baby are doing perfectly fine. So much love pouring in... We feel blessed! Thank you. As we complete 11 years of our relationship, couldn't ask for a better gift...”

Currently, Amrita Rao is enjoying her motherhood journey. In a conversation with ETimes, Amrita talked about if she plans to have a second baby soon so that his son, Veer can have company. Sharing that she doesn’t believe in this concept, Amrita said:
“I do not believe in this concept of having another child just to give company to your younger one or because he/she will have a sibling to fall back upon. Never fall for anyone who tries to convince you on these grounds. This is a very subjective matter and what works for one will not necessarily work for the other.”
Amrita Rao also shared that she knew motherhood is a tough phase and raising a child is not easy. Talking about how she manages to balance her personal and professional life, Amrita expressed her gratitude to have a husband like RJ Anmol. She said:
“It would have been crazy if I did not have fatherhood for support. There's no room for feminist ego. As, what a father can bring in is different and certainly valuable especially when the mother is also recovering post her delivery.”

To celebrate Veer’s first birthday on November 1, 2021, Amrita had shared a family picture on her IG handle, where the family of three was seen twinning in white. With Amrita laughing, looking at Veer, Anmol could be seen holding their son in his arms, lifting him up in the air. She had captioned the picture as:
“VEER turns 1 & so do we as parents Happy Bday to Us we seek your Love n Blessings! #veer.”
Amrita Rao and Anmol had arranged for an animal-themed party for Veer’s first birthday. The actress had shared a few pictures on her IG handle, giving a glimpse of the party. From his cake to decoration, everything was all about animals. Along with the pictures, the doting mommy had written:
“VEER Had a Small Knit Animal Theme Birthday... We couldn't invite any one but immediate family members .. because Veer's Momi is not Vaccinated as per Our pediatricians guidelines!! We seek your best blessings.”
Well, when it is about having a baby, it should always be a couple’s decision!
