In the early 2000s, Amrita Rao had made her debut in the music video for Alisha Chinoy's song, Woh Pyar Mera and was later roped in for the film, Ab Ke Baras as a lead actress. But it was in 2003, when she finally got her breakthrough with Shahid Kapoor starrer, Ishq Vishk and since then, there has been no looking back for her. More than a decade ago, Amrita found her Life Partner in RJ Anmol and their Vivah was nothing but a secret intimate affair. The Heyy Babyy moment came into Anmol and Amrita’s life in 2020 when they had embraced parenthood with the arrival of their son, Veer. To announce the arrival of Veer in November 2020, Amrita Rao and Anmol shared a cute announcement post. The newbie parents had written, "Buoy O Boy... Yes, it's a 'Boy'... Amrita and the Baby are doing perfectly fine. So much love pouring in... We feel blessed! Thank you. As we complete 11 years of our relationship, couldn't ask for a better gift...” Amrita and Anmol had the naming ceremony of their newborn and giving a glimpse of the same on social media, the latter had written, “Naming Ceremony of VEER!!! #veer #namingceremony.”
Ever since the birth of Veer, Amrita Rao and Anmol’s fans were eagerly waiting for the couple to share the first picture of their little munchkin. And the moment is finally here as Anmol shared the first-ever picture with Veer on his social media profiles. Anmol shared a family picture with Amrita and Veer in the frame, gushing over their little bundle of happiness. Veer too, can be seen smiling with his parents, making it a sight to behold! Anmol captioned his post as "Our World, Our Happiness #Veer." Amrita shared a picture of Veer on her IG stories and wrote, "He will reply to all your compliments... But right now, Sir is reading today's newspaper."
It’s been close to five months since Amrita Rao and Anmol’s son, Veer’s birth, and the couple is making the most of their parenthood phase. In an interview with The Times of India, Amrita had spoken about how motherhood is treating her and a change she had seen in herself post becoming a mother. To begin with, Amrita had spoken about how the past four months were being a mother, “Firstly, I still cannot fathom the phenomena. I look at Veer every day and feel, 'Is he for real?' The first thing a baby teaches you is time management and discipline. Motherhood is like a mix of emotions. Revealing the one change she sees in herself post becoming a mother and the ‘hot’ compliment she received from her husband, Anmol, Amrita Rao said, “I never thought I would be such a hands-on mom. I could have an entourage around him if I wanted, but I don’t even have a nanny. Thanks to our profession’s flexibility, Anmol and I are doing everything ourselves, right from bathing the baby, massaging to nappy changing, and playing with him. And, yes, in the mirror I still look like that girl who’s come back home from college (laughs!), just a bit fuller though. Anmol tells me from cute I’ve become hot after I’ve had the baby. I think every woman looks hotter after she has had a baby!”
Diwali 2020 was a special one for Amrita Rao and Anmol as it was the first one with their newborn son, Veer. Since Amrita and Anmol had received their Diwali gift well in advance, the newbie parents had celebrated Veer’s first Diwali in full Barjatya style with his dada-dadi, nana-nani, his bua and maasi. Summing up her experience as a new mother, Amrita had remarked in an interview with The Times of India, “A new mother is as newborn as her child. Every minute is a new learning.
