Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda have a superstar, Amitabh Bachchan as their father. They might be awestruck with the immense popularity of their father, but like every other child, they share a very warm rapport with Amit ji. At Karan Johar’s talk show, Koffee With Karan season 6, Abhishek had confessed that his father is more fond of Shweta as compared to him. The brother-sister duo had always fought for who is their father’s favourite child.
Big B often shares throwback pictures of his family members and on November 16, 2019, Amit ji took to his Twitter and shared a monochrome picture of his daughter, Shweta Nanda, and son, Abhishek Bachchan. In the picture, both Shweta and Abhishek looked adorable as they twinned in their similar night suit. Sharing the picture, Big B wrote, “T 3550 - The innocence of the child is what gives us the reason and the opportunity to make them, what they are ..Shweta and Abhishek .. in their prime .. !!”

Abhishek considers his father as his inspiration and has always said that he is Amit ji's biggest fan. On Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan season 6, Abhishek had revealed that it was extremely difficult for him when his father reviewed his performances and gave his views on the same. He had stated, "It's very difficult. I have never said this, but it is. Because apart from being a co-star, a son, I'm also his biggest fan. And I genuinely say that. On November 7, 2019, Abhishek had taken to his Instagram handle and had posted a sepia-toned throwback picture of his father and had written, “Not just as a son, but as an actor and a fan... We are all blessed to witness greatness! There is so much to admire, to learn and even more to appreciate. Several generations of cinema lovers get to say we lived in the times of BACHCHAN!!! Congratulations Pa on completing 50 years in the Film industry. We now await the next 50! Love you.”
When Shweta penned her first debut novel, Paradise Towers, her father, Amitabh Bachchan was the proudest. In an interaction with the media, Big B had revealed, “She really is the best actor in the family. She is also very perceptive about observations and I do rely on her many a times as just a rest of the family on many incidents that may happen within the city, home, country and world. She has an opinion. Many times, we discuss the outcome of a film that I may have done or a film that she may have seen. I have to say that she is always been right.”
For Amit ji, his family comes first. In a media interaction, Amit ji had revealed that his son is not the only one who has the authority on his property. According to a report of The Times of India, Mr. Bachchan had revealed that his property will be divided equally between both his children.
