According to a report of India Today, Amitabh Bachchan's bodyguard, Jitendra Shinde has been transferred to a police station in South Mumbai after allegations of him earning an annual income of Rs 1.5 crores surfaced in the media. Shinde, who happens to be a constable with the Mumbai police, was posted as a bodyguard for Big B and has accompanied him on the shooting sets of various film.
Jitendra Shinde has been working as Amitabh Bachchan's bodyguard for the past few years and has been spotted along with him at various public events. According to Mumbai police, a cop cannot be deployed in one place for more than five years. Whereas, Shinde has been working for Amitabh Bachchan since 2015.

After reports of Jitendra Shinde earning an annual income of Rs. 1.5 crores surfaced online, the Mumbai Police has been probing into the matter and investigating whether he earned the money during his service for Big B or from someone else. A source also revealed that a departmental inquiry has also been initiated into the said matter.
On being investigated, Jitendra Shinde told the Mumbai Police that his wife runs a security agency as well. The same security agency provided security personnel to several other celebrities and renowned people. Shinde revealed to the police officials that his wife ran the security business in her name. He also said that he did not earn Rs. 1.5 crores from Amitabh Bachchan.
