Amitabh Bachchan has been reigning as the king of Bollywood even at the age of 81. His powerful and energetic performances across a variety of mediums and platforms can easily give any other young performer a run for their money. Apart from it, Big B has been winning hearts with his presence as the host of the popular reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati, where he often shares some unheard and special anecdotes from his personal life. And something similar happened yet again.
In the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati, Amitabh chatted with the contestant, Chamatkari Chattopadhyay and revealed some fond anecdotes from his personal life. The actor mentioned how he is always sandwiched back at home between his family members. Moreover, he added how his family stands to be diverse, and called it a mini-India. Sharing the reason for such a name Big B explained that while his son, Abhishek’s wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan belongs from South India, his daughter, Shweta married Nikhil Nanda from North India. In his words:
“I can completely understand, even I become a sandwich at home with everyone. However, what I like the most is the fact that my family is so diverse. My daughter married someone in Punjab and my son in the south. We have people from all across the country, it’s like a mini-India and we love it.”

In one of his previous episodes of Kaun Banega Crorepati 15, Big B spoke about his Bengali wedding with wifey, Jaya Bachchan. Big B revealed why he didn’t wish to wear the traditional topor during the wedding rituals and added apologising to his wife’s family for the same. He mentioned:
“This conical cap is worn during the wedding in Bengal. You all know that I have a connection with Bengal. I don’t know why they made this and made people wear this. I didn’t like it so I asked Jaya’s family members and said I apologise, I will marry your daughter, Jaya but please don’t make me wear this topi.”
During his appearance at Komal Nahta’s show, The Starry Night, Amitabh Bachchan spoke about his wife, Jaya and labelled the latter as his worst critic. He mentioned how Jaya often criticises him for the kind of roles he did in the past. Not only this, Big B also added how she once straightaway walked out of one of his auditions.

In another episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 15, Amitabh spoke about his personal life and mentioned how he is very scared of his wife, Jaya Bachchan. He mentioned that when his better half is lenient, it is great. However, when she is angry, she becomes very strict with him. Moreover, Big B added how he doesn’t want to reveal much details about his personal life publicly, as his wife gets annoyed with it.
