Amitabh Bachchan is known for bringing change to the society. He not only proved his acting mettle in the industry but also made a huge name that commands respect. In the '90s and early 2000s, Amitabh contributed extensively to the polio campaign. His efforts for continuous eight years helped eradicate polio from India. And it changed India's future and made it a polio-free country.

Amitabh Bachchan shared that people feared his angry man image

In the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 15, Amitabh Bachchan opened up about his association with the polio campaign in India. The superstar revealed how the campaign director hired him for his 'angry young man' image, which made people fear and listen to his pleas to vaccinate their kids. Amitabh revealed that his director told him to scold the people. Quoting his director, Amitabh said:

"Aap daant dijiye."

Further, Amitabh Bachchan shared a WHO official, who visited a village in India and asked a woman why she decided to vaccinate her child. To this, the lady told them that they didn't want to make Amitabh Bachchan angry. Imitating the women, Amitabh said:

"Amitabh ji gussa horahe the toh humne kardia."

When Amitabh Bachchan revealed Madhuri Dixit adopted Tuffy after Hum Aapke Hain Koun's release

In one of the earlier episodes of Kaun Banega Crorepati 15, Amitabh Bachchan asked a question on Tuffy from the film, Hum Aapke Hain Koun. After this, Amitabh Bachchan shared an interesting anecdote about Madhuri and Tuffy's bond. The superstar revealed that Madhuri Dixit loved Tuffy and would often spend time with him. She got so attached to him that she adopted Tuffy, whose real name was Redo, after the release of the film.
