The Shahenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan is the epitome of hard work and dedication. Even at the age of 79, the veteran makes sure to work hard and give his best shot. He had begun his 'filmy' career as a voice narrator in 1969 with Mrinal Sen’s National Award film, Bhuvan Shome.
It was in 1969 when Amitabh Bachchan had started his acting journey with the film, Saat Hindustani. Although he had struggled as an actor at the beginning of his career with twelve flops and only tasted success with the 1973 hit film Zanjeer. And since then, there was no looking back for the versatile actor.

Amitabh Bachchan enjoys a huge fanbase, who gather outside his home to get a glimpse of the actor. One of his fans recently installed a life-size statue of the actor at his home. Yes, you read it right. An Indian-American family installed a life-size statue of the Shahenshah of Bollywood at their home in Edison City of New Jersey.
Gopi Seth, who is an internet security engineer, is a die-hard fan of Mr Bachchan. Talking about his love for Amitabh Bachchan, Gopi Seth stated in an interview with PTI:
“He is nothing less than a god to me and my wife. The biggest thing that inspires me about him is not only his reel life, but also the real life … how he manages himself in public, how he conveys and communicates …everything you know. He is very down to earth. He takes care of his fans. He is not like so many other stars. This is why I thought I should have his status outside of my house.”

As per Mr Seth, Amitabh Bachchan is aware of the statue. Sharing details about the statue, which shows Mr Bachchan seated in his Kaun Banega Crorepati avatar, Gopi Seth said that it was specially designed and made in Rajasthan. It was later shipped to the United States, and the entire project cost him 75,000 US dollars, which is approximately Rs. 60 lakhs.
Gopi Seth had first met the superstar in 1991 during Navratri celebrations in New Jersey. Seth has been running a website called www.BigBEFamily.com for Big B’s fans for almost three decades now. More than 600 people gathered outside Gopi Seth’s home, where the statue, placed inside a glass box, was unveiled by eminent community leader, Albert Jasani.
