Now, a Reddit user has reshared the picture that Big B posted to promote his grandson, Agastya's upcoming debut film and pointed out how Big B never posts anything for his bahu, Aishwarya Rai, even on the possible biggest films of her career. Expressing his disappointment over the same, the user penned a note, which can be read as:
"Amit Ji couldn't post for Aish, on her possible biggest films of career. But here posting a picture of Twinkle Khanna and Shweta Nanda so he can connect the dots and hype Agastya's upcoming film Archies to his 34.5 millions followers. Nana ji ki priorities clear hai."
As soon as the post was shared on Reddit, netizens bombarded the comment section and started a debate. Many social media users pointed out the hypocrisy of the Bachchan clan for not cheering for Aishwarya even on her biggest achievements. Reacting to the video, one user penned, "Bachchans are known to be deeply deeply patriarchal. But I think they’ve all just settled into their own spaces & Ash is her own world, it appears. But from Naavya’s podcast, it’s clear that she, Shweta & Jaya don’t really care for Ash. They spoke about everyone in the family BUT her. It’s very telling." Another one commented, "There's a reason why Aish’s mom unfollowed both Amitabh and Abhishek."
